  • I liked it so much - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora

I bought a used 2001 and liked it so much, I wanted a brand new one. The 2001 was a 4.0 and the 2002 is a 3.0. I really like the style of this car. I had a Cutlass and I really liked it, too. They made a big mistake when they got rid of the Cutlass. People ask me all the time "what kind of car is this?" Its not the best on mileage and it doesnt have the pick up that the 4.0 has. The DIC is the best and I like the radio info, also. The only thing I regret is the light color of the interior. I wish it was black. Ill keep it for a while. I dont think the resell value is the best.

  • A Good Ride - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora

This vehicle Has two major design flaws that should not be replicated anywhere. There is Zero clearance between the front wheels and the frame of the car, and the battery is located under the back seat inside the passenger area.

Excellent highway car. Great manueverability. Quick responding powertrain. Wide stance assures excellent control. Smooth ride and yet good feel of the road. Best handling car I have ever driven.

Bought this car off of EBay after research many 4 door sedans. My wife said I had to get a 4 door, so I decided to get a fun one, and this car has been great. While not quite a BMW, it certainly is price MUCH less than other sports sedans. Too bad GM did have the good marketing to keep Olds around. On the highway I have not had a better car and it is effortless to drive while stuck in traffic.

  • Great Car - 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora

This has been a great car to own. We have had it for 4 years (almost 50,000 miles) and the only thing that has been done to it is regular oil changes. Gas mileage has been very good, 19 to 20 miles per gallon in town. It is also fun to drive. The only negative I can think of is the radio volume control. It is either too loud or too soft. If GM were going to continue the oldsmobile line, I would defintely purchase another one.

  • Confort and fun - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora

Best car I have ever had. Built like a tank, expect to put another 100K on it. Air conditioning compressor (built by third party) went out at 80K, rear suspension sensor out at 90K - small potatoes given the hi tech build of the car. Not a single rattle in the car after 105K. The car will always look marvelous.

This car is eautiful and very reliable. The only repairs that I have had to make so far are a battery and wiper blade replacement last week. I will probably buy new tires in November. The engine loves to rev but is relatively low on torque. Its ride is a little harsh, but its handling is above average. New tires will probably improve the ride. My only complaint is a rattling sunroof when the shade is partially open. I would probably buy another one if a 5- or 6-speed auto was offered.

  • My dream machine... - 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora

This is the greatest car ive ever owned. I just bought a 2001 with 8000 miles on it. The ride is excellent. Its a beautiful car that turns heads as I drive. Im very disappointed that this is the last Oldsmobile I will be able to own.

  • Satisfied Owner - We need Oldsmobiles - 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora

This was my 3 rd Olds and the best ever of cars that I have owned. I laugh as I read the features of the top of the line (Lexus, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, etc) about features my 2001 Olds has, rain sensor wipers, wrap around air bags (front and back safety features, steering wheel controls, the pass through to luggage caompartment, I have used many times, to caarry long itmes and fly rods!), Teh ride all passengers compliment and cannot believe it is and Oldsmobile. Few know it was one of the oldest auto manufactured in USA. It is a damn shame it was shut down as it was superbly designed, well built with only minor flaws that in subsequent years would have been made to make it perfect.

  • a little disappointed - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora

I fell in love with my car when my husband brought it home.We have had numerous problems since we have had the Aurora.Early in 2002, the wipers stopped working, weather stripping began leaking on drivers side and had to be replaced, the back panel seperating the trunk from the back seat will not stay attatched, the driver side window works "MOST" of the time, the entire steering-wheel column and surrounding had to be replaced, the two back red lights that come on in fog light mode had to be replaced as well as the front passenger side main light bulb. Thank God for extended warranties, but what happens when it runs out????
