  • Its a Cadillac. - 1990 Cadillac Eldorado

Ive always loved the small boxie style Cadillac had in the early 90s. Both the 4.5 and 4.9 were the best engines Cadillac Ever built. They were built with what Cadillac stands For Luxury and Dependability.

  • 10/10 would buy again - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

I originally had a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am Gt Coupe with a bad head gasket, power steering pump, radiator and countless other issues. Leaked a quart a week. I traded that car and $500 and got me a 97 Eldorado. Its pearl white with a soft top and girls love it. Real head turner. It was a fixer upper, had a bad alternator and heater core and hoses, gas gage didnt work. I fixed the heater core and alternator for a total of $300. No complaints on performance except sometimes it takes a while to get going after stopping. Has 124k on it, Im second owner and it came from Florida and has no rust at all. Premium gas gets it 16.5 mpg.

  • This car rips! - 1994 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

My 1994 Cadillac Eldorado is my first car, and im proud to own such a reliable and fun car. When i bought it at $900, it had 97,780 miles on it, and it ran like it was brand new. For a car thats 20 years old, i only need to fix a computer that runs the heaters, new rear tires, and exhaust leaks. Either though its FWD, it has its benefits, it wont get stuck in the snow. And the power delivery is incredible for what it is. This this hauls ass! The tires spin at half throttle and will burn the tire right off. The comfort of driving this machine is great too. blue leather bucket seats. (at least mine is) Handling is surprisingly great for a heavy fwd sedan. The fastest its gone is 157mph. FAST

  • Unbelievable Quality/ Style for a 24 Yr Old car - 1990 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

Bought mine used as a weekend car as I live in a large metropolitan city and can walk to work and various shopping around my condo, it had 132,000 miles on it and 1.5 years later only up to 133,074, runs like new, everything inside and out looks as if its 1990, all the digital instrumentation works perfectly, as well as the onboard 1990s computer console (state of the art for the 90s) all I had to replace was the trunk closure motor, (as the trunk closes automatically), my oil change place cannot believe a 24 year old car still looks this good. Have to say well worth the $2800 I paid for it

  • MY ELDORADO - 2001 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

I bought my 2001 EldoradoETC with 85K miles on the clock. ck engine lite, wheel bearing, motor mounts, starter motor, about 1500.00 dollars worth, also replaced all the sensors. But smetimes when you buy a used car you have to invest a few bucks to straighten stuff out. All that being said, My Eldorado runs PERFECT, Gets 29MPG on the road, and looks acts and feels like the thorobred she is. Love the car and it was well worth the money I payed for it including the repairs. I think GM is on the right road offering 2 dr Cadillacs.

  • Bad Eldo - 2000 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

Loved everything about this head turning 2000 ESC, I purchased in 2011 with 71k mi, I put 18k mi on it and all hell broke loose, first it couldnt pass smog, mechanic said cat converter $300 still didnt pass another mech said bad sensors $200 , NOPE then i noticed the car started shaking ,mech said motor mounts $500, but the nightmare continues bc smoke stated coming from tailpipes ,later diagnostic test revealed blown head gasket needs new engine and codes that showed something bad in transmission also air shocks leak witch causes rear end to sag ,results Eldo has been parked on curve almost 2yrs.

    By -

I recently bought a 99 El Dorado w/Northstar. I love it so very much, but, I didnt do my homework, now it needs an alternator, and I hear it will often, A new one is expensive! Can I get one with a heavier voltage regulator to avoid this problem? If not, Im afraid Ill have to sell my baby. :{{{{{ signed very unhappy.

  • Best car ever !! By far! - 1996 Cadillac Eldorado
    By -

I bought this car when I was 15 to go to local car shows with and it turned out to be the best thing I have ever bought in my life. The performance is amazing, the Northstar is one of the best engines ever, the ride is the smoothest with the air suspension, its a very quiet interior, awesome quality built, and the sound of the engine is amazing. Not to mention the drop dead good looks! I get so many compliments about the car on the street and in car shows I cant keep track. 62000kms, dark cherry metallic with matching interior, gold plated emblems with gold pinstripe and vogue rims and white walls. Only had to get a tune up since I owned it ($500). Not for someone who isnt financially stable

  • Its a Cadillac - 1997 Cadillac Eldorado

My 97 ETC isnt bad. Of course what you expect for buying a used 16 yr old caddy at 126,*** Miles. New battery, wipers, new set of rims (one was cracked and I couldnt find a replacment, but got current ones from a junk yard for free off a 91 seville:).The Service Light came on for a few weeks then went off, it is a bad O2 sensor and I havent had $$/time to fix it now. Once in a while, it has a hard WARM start, possible leaky fuel injector ( I hope!). I ordered the service manual (I advise DIY-ers to do this) and I cant wait to start seeing how my N* works. But with gas being over $4, it may become a weekend car and back to the 01 Civic LX for me.
