Perfect Only Vehicle - 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan
By Jerry Rezny - March 2 - 4:00 amThe Volkswagen EuroVan is the perfect vehicle for me because it can do everything. If I need to hold 7 passengers, it will. If I need to carry sheets of 4x8 plywood, it can. Want to bring my bike to the trail? No problem. Long trips...wonderful. This van is comfortable, has great visibility, is smooth riding and quiet! I love it!

All Purpose Hauler - 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan
By the engineer - February 24 - 10:00 amThis is our second Eurovan after owning a 93 for almost 100k miles. The VR6 is a wonderful engine, lots of power to tow our 26 Chris Craft, and decent mileage (~18 daily driving). All areas of the car were improved with one exception- the driving position was somehow made uncomfortable, I start to get leg cramps after half an hour. The van is much quieter than the older model, and cruising on the highway is effortless. The Michelin Enegy tires are great for comfort and handling, and they improve the fuel mileage, too. In addition to the better engine, VW added a rear stabiliser bar which improves the handling.

Love it! - 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan
By Miker - February 4 - 10:00 amMy 2nd Eurovan....first was the camper, but didnt camp enough. This is much better for us, and really great to drive! Although the family thinks its a little boxy, they really love the interier and its comfort. Recently traveled with 5 other adults and all raved about the comfort and how quiet it is. We love it!

A Joy to Drive! - 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan
By jerry - January 19 - 1:50 amId like to get a gas miser to drive, just so the oil exporting countries dont get more money, but I cant give up this ride. I have over 100,000 miles on it and it runs like new. Its never had a tune-up...no plugs, nothing. I change the oil every 5,000 miles; it doesnt burn it at all. The seating position gives me a great view of the road. Its like sitting in a comfortable chair in my living room watching my HD big screen. It should have a popcorn popper built in. Besides being able to see traffic well, it handles like a car not a truck. Its built on a very strong truck frame, solid and secure. I can fold down all the back seats in seconds and put in 4 x 8 sheets of plywood.

Fantastic multi-purpose vehicle - 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan
By smallwisdom - January 10 - 9:50 amWe bought our 2001 Eurovan used in 2006 with 70k miles. Now, in 2014, it has about 130k without any major mishap. That said, expect to spend about $1500/year on maintenance AND they are notorious for having the transmission die ($6K repair) between 40k-70k miles. 9 years later, our van has taken us on multiple camping trips and has gone to Burning Man several times. The engine runs a little rougher than it use to but it is still a very nice, drivable car for a large van. Sadly, I dont think our van will survive for very many more years because various bits are starting to fall apart, but it has not had a gentle life (we park it outside, take it camping, have kids, etc.).

Huge and easy to handle - 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan
By JF - December 29 - 10:00 amThis minvan has more room than any others. It is great and handles really well for such a big vehicle. The engine is a little noisy in low gears but is great at high speed. The interior finition could be a little better. We like it!

Best Van on the road today - 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan
By Greensboro NC - December 5 - 2:46 amPurchased this van to replace our 93 MV with 193,000 miles. This Eurovan has been exceptionally reliable with 132,000 miles, everything works on this van virtually no problems. Only replaced tires and brake pads, 19 MPG on REG gas, By far the best van in the world bar none.Family of 5, son is 6 2" and fits with ease. Lots of space, comfortable, fast, handles like a VW known for, great visibility, sit up high, fit and finish still like new, cloth on seats show very little wear, AC is awesome, love overhead AC vents, Has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, wife loves it, kids love it, friends say it is cool and will ride in ours but not in minivans. I would buy again and again!

Think of it more as a Euro truck - 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan
By Frank Eurovan - October 22 - 10:00 amNo, itÂ’s not a "minivan", where that term is currently defined as an overgrown passenger sedan. It is almost the size of a full size van on the outside and inside, but it is so much more driveable than any other full size van. The driving position is the popular "very high" - I can see over all other minivans and even most SUVs on the road. On separate occasions, Ive hauled 1) 7 adults very comfortably, 2) a large roll-top desk, and 3) several pieces of 12-foot long 2x6 lumber. It all fits. We also used it on our family vacation last summer with great success. Too bad 2002 is the last production year.

Great mid-van - 2000 Volkswagen Eurovan
By Loueeeeee - September 3 - 2:00 amWe have owned two Eurovans. The first van was and 1992 and fairly good. It was reliabe. However, this one was slugish. Our 2000 has been outstanding. Except for the air-conditioning, we have had absolutely no problems. In addition, this Eurovan is exceptionally quick and fun to drive. It may seem impossible, but the big ole Eurovan is more agile than some cars I have owned. We are a 5 people family and highly recommend this vehicle to anyone; a great van
