Overview & Reviews
The standard 4.7-liter V8 now delivers 282 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque and is hooked to a five-speed automatic transmission. The Sequoia also gets a new front fascia and grille, redesigned taillamps, an in-glass antenna and color-keyed fender flares. A new sport package for the SR5 includes foglamps, tubular running boards, a height-adjustable rear suspension, a front skid plate, the JBL premium sound system and 16-inch alloy wheels. A new Limited Luxury package includes second-row leather bucket seats, a removable center console, unique wood trim, electroluminescent gauges, the height-adjustable rear suspension and memory for the driver seat and outside mirrors. Other additions include available push-button engagement for the 4WD system and an optional navigation system. There's also a new rollover sensor that triggers the side and head curtain airbags in the event of a rollover accident. A third-row center headrest has been added to all Sequoias.
- Refined drivetrain, surprisingly agile handling, versatile and comfortable interior, Toyota reputation for reliability.
- Nondescript styling, low towing capacity for a full-size SUV.

Great large SUV - 2005 Toyota Sequoia
By Sequoia in No. Cal. - September 6 - 5:13 amThe Sequoia is the best overall large SUV out there. It has a great engine, large cabin and the rear window that retracts all the way down is a huge plus for carrying long items. The mileage isnt great but it is better then expected for such a large vehicle. The Navigation and DVD system are not up to par with the Acura system. The DVD needs to be controlled with a remote control and you can only enter an address in the Nav system when in Park. Small complaints for an overall great truck.

Off road machine - 2005 Toyota Sequoia
By Ritchie - April 2 - 3:46 amI ended up pulling out two full-size trucks and a lincoln navigator out that were stuck in the snow. I am very impressed with its offroad capability. The differential lock is a great feature and it makes it almost impossible to stop. Awesome vehicle! Very glad I bought it!

Love My Truck to Death - 2005 Toyota Sequoia
By Love my Truck - March 18 - 10:46 pmMy truck rides like a car, at times people outside do not even realize theres a truck behind them, thats how silent the 4.7 Liter V8 (lexus) engine is. Although, I have had problems with the rear window & broken door latch, I really dont care because these thing are simply cosmetic to me. My truck runs, feels and looks great.

By papote1111 - January 16 - 3:13 pmI have now own my truck for the past 8 years. It feels like new except for the new tires I purchased they are meant for off road instead of highway other, than my truck is solid, looks good and feels great. I highly recommend Toyota trucks they are piece of mind worriers free and tremendous reliably.
