Overview & Reviews
The Toyota RAV4 gains minor interior trim changes for 2010.
- Superb power and fuel economy from optional V6, huge cargo space with flat load floor, roomy second-row seating, balanced ride and handling, solid build quality, strong crash test scores.
- Interior has a budget feel, side-hinged rear gate impedes curbside loading, driver seat a tight fit for taller drivers.

2010 Toyota RAV-4 AWD - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By chucko420 - August 3 - 9:30 amPros: handles surprisingly well with good acceleration and steering, decent gas mileage, good JBL sound system, interior foot lights are sweet, 4WD mode is great since it is superior to AWD, heated seats, very little serice work needed except re-torquing the drive shat every 15,000 miles, interior design is good especially the fold flat rear seats, lots of cargo space with easy access. Cons: very noisy-cant even talk on the phone due to noise level, small steering wheel, poor visability out the rear but all cars are like that now, front license plate gets damaged in car wash.

By Theo - July 13 - 9:40 pmI just leased the Rav4 Sport Appearance Pkg. from Jim Coleman Toyota, what an excellent dealership experience. I cut my monthly payment in half! I have been completely impressed with the power this vehicle has and decent handling with AWD. I also like the rear door with out spare tire and the cargo space is good.

2010 Toyota RAV4 Limited - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By paulm - January 19 - 3:30 amBought this vehicle two months ago and could not be happier with it. Everything actually works, its fun to drive, gets decent gas mileage and it was delivered without a scratch or ding on it. Im hoping to keep it that way. And with the v6, no problems with passing on the highway. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a new ride.

Vibrates on the Highway - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By BJ - January 18 - 10:00 amI bought the Base Rav4 in August, 2010. Everything is great, except it vibrates a lot and is very noticeable, especially at speeds greater than 50. The Dealership tried to help and rebalanced the wheels for me. It did not help. At the dealership, the service manager and I test drove another new Rav4 and it did the same thing. Called Customer Care at Toyota, and their expert said that they are just made that way and to get used to it. So, I am looking to trade it in soon. And our 2005 Camry vibrated if the wheels were not perfectly balance. This will be my last Toyota. They have gotten way too big and quality issues are popping up and they and really dont care.

Hard to beat deal - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Pete - December 2 - 10:03 amI just Leased a 2010 RAV4 AWD Limited with a V6 for $330 per month with zero down plus signing fees ($1,625). They bought out the lease on my 2008 WV Passat with 8 months to go with zero cost to me so I basically dropped off one car and drove home with a brand new more expensive vehicle, which to me is a hard to beat deal.

Good car for the money - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Debbie - November 24 - 3:33 amJust leased a 2010 rav4 limited. Great car except it has not homelink system, no satellite radio, and no bluetooth, but it does have a nav system. If you can do without those items, great vehicle.

Everything I need - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By t0yotfan - October 4 - 6:48 amAfter having both a 2002 and 2004 CRV, I bought a 2007 RAV4 with the V6. It had greater usable cargo space and the V6 got 22mpg when the 2 CRVs never got over 21mpg with a 4 cyl. The 2007 RAV4 got totaled in an accident, so since I was very happy with it, I bought another identical V6 4x4 base model. I bought it with a Toyota trailer hitch and I have no problem towing a 8x5 Big Tex trailer loaded with a John Deere 2320 tractor plus 3 Labs in the back cargo area in 3 large dog kennels every week 80 miles to a farm I own in the next county over. The total weight of the trailer and Tractor is 2850lbs. I still get 16 mpg with that load and the power and braking are more than adequate.

Empty Nester crossover SUV - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By rich comeau - August 11 - 12:43 amMy wife choose this vehicle as she will be driving it the most. We have only owned the vehicle for two weeks but are very satisfied with the RAV4. The V6 is freaky powerful with lots of fun acceleration. She did not like the rear door mounted spare tire, as it detracts from the nice style of the Rav4. She said it looked utilitarian with a Jeep CJ look. Choose the Sport with rear tire delete. I did notice a stiffer ride with the sport tuned suspension and 18" tires compared to the Limited we drove. Good mileage for our new found freedom to travel yet enough cargo space to fit our daughters dorm room in. At 6",2 the seats run out of thigh support for me, but wife finds it comfortable.
