  • Love the look - 2007 Toyota RAV4

I was a Honda CRV owner for 6 years. I didnt like the new shape for 2007. I drove across the street to look at the RAV4. I was quite surprised by all the changes since I first looked at the RAV4 in 2000. Love the body style and the way it handles. It beats the Honda 2007 CRV anyday.

  • I love my new Toyota Rav4 - 2007 Toyota RAV4

This was my frist new car. I have always liked my 99 toyota corolla, but when I test drove my rav4, I was sold. There is a lot of space for your back passengers. They can adjust thier seat and recline to a comfortable position. I love the hidden storage. Car drives nice and smooth. I feel safe in this car!

  • RAV4s are GREAT SUVs - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

My V6 RAV4 Sport 4WD has so much content and quality for a $25k SUV that one year later Im still amazed at how Toyota did it. I live in the Mojave Desert and the optional "Tow Prep Package" w/bigger radiator & heavy duty alternator is a blessing. From all the many standard "Star Safety System" features - standard on ALL models - to the competence of the vehicle in many situations from the highway to rocky roads to snow to the speed (the V6 is a hot rod!) to the great mileage which, according to my ScanGauge II data center I installed, is right on at 27 mpg highway. This is still the best SUV for the money when power, mileage and quality are factored into the equation.

  • Just out of college car - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

This was a very generous gift from my parents for college graduation and although I would be happy with any car given to me, I am overall very pleased with this car. Its an SUV but doesnt necessarily drive like one. It accelerates fast and handles well around turns, it is not top-heavy like many SUVs. The storage is great! Ive had that thing packed with 5 adults and enough luggage to where Ive had to rely on my side mirrors to back-up, but everyone was comfortable and I heard no complaints, to my face that is. Fairly fuel-efficient for an SUV. Although if thats your priority, I would suggest a Ford Escape or Mercury Mariner.

  • Im thrilled with my RAV4! - 2007 Toyota RAV4

I was hesitant to buy an SUV because Ive had small cars all my life and had trouble maneuvering and parking the SUVs I had been test driving. My first time in the RAV, I did a tight U-turn and fell in love! The RAV is small enough to easily handle, and when we packed for our first vacation, we had cargo space left over! The fuel economy has been as advertised, if not better. However, I dont drive aggressively, and I followed the "first 1000 miles" recommendations. The first week of ownership, I was aware of slight road vibration under my feet (I was coming out of a luxury sedan) but I no longer notice it. I highly recommend the RAV4.

  • Great Vehicle - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

I waited 5 months for a V6 Limited with factory leather to arrive at my dealer. I was about to give up, ask for my deposit back, and opt for an RDX or an X3. In addition to both vehicles being more expensive than the RAV4, I was concerned about gas mileage on the RDX and repair costs on the X3. The RAV4 was worth the wait. The vehicle is better than I expected. I got 25 mpg on my first tankful with combined city and highway driving, so it should get better from there.

  • Not a great SUV as first thought - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

Frankly, I got fooled by my purchase. I realised after the purchase that I have bought a low end SUV even though it costs more. I used to own a camry and I thought that as Rav4 is little expensive it will be better comfort wise. But that is not true. It feels like you are driving Corolla. No power (4 cyl). Lot of external noise. Lot of shocks. So, basically it is not a smooth as Camry. I got a factory installed remote start which stinks. My problem might be that I was thinking it will be similar or better than Camry but it is absolutely not the case.

  • Three Months and Going Strong - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

We have now owned our RAV4 for about 3 months and I love driving it! We were seriously looking at the Honda CR-V also (I was replacing a Honda Accord which I loved) but frankly didnt think the interior CR-V features were up to speed with the RAV4. Only issue we have had is a problem with tire inflation on driver side. It keeps losing air for no apparent reason. This is a great vehicle for moving or purchase of large or awkward items which cannot easily fit in a car. Sure do love it!!

  • Texan loves her RAV4! - 2007 Toyota RAV4

Ive had my 2007 RAV4 Limited for a little over 7 weeks and truly love it! Enjoy driving it. I was hesitant about purchasing a 4 cyl SUV after owning a V6 mustang, but it has great get up and go on the freeways and great handling. I feel safe and secure behind the wheel and the visibility is fabulous. Even my husband loves it. Toyota has made a superior and sporty looking SUV.

  • RAV4 Great! until water pump problem - 2007 Toyota RAV4
    By -

The RAV4 is exceptional in handling and driving, I love it! CAUTION: One major downfall, I have to replace the water pump. Well in order to have the water pump replaced the engine has to be taken out, 14.5 hours of labor! The service guy quoted 14.5 hours labor! That totally crushed my opinion about the RAV4, its bad for the engineers/designer to place the water pump where the engine has to be removed to replace a simple device such as the water pump.
