this is a fine car - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By James Giesel - June 10 - 3:07 pmive ony owned my new rav4 for a few weeks which makes many of the above value judgments sort of meaningless. But so far I have no complaints. The happiest aspect of our short life together is fuel economy - 28.5 mpg overall with a healthy dose of town driving and 31 and change on the interstate. My guess is that a light foot is the answer. We try our best to keep the "eco" light on and it pays off. Otherwise, the seating is more comfortable than it was in our 2009 rav an theres plenty of legroom in the rear. Havent tried to load her up for the annual trip to AK and am hoping that the lack of storage space under the rear floor wont be too much of an issue. Cant wait to try the off road performance!

New RAV-4 - Good Investment - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By mike butche - April 28 - 4:47 pmLove the car; ride and transmission are very smooth. Great appearance, nice styling lines. Everything works! Looking forward to many years of driving pleasure. One complaint: The front seat belts are almost impossible to connect. They are so far back into the seat, they have proved to be out of reach. Ive had a RAV-4 in the past, know the comfort belt extenders can provide, need to get some next trip to dealer locale. One concern: The car is endowed with many intimidating electronic options. It will take some time to learn how to use and live easily with them all.

Best all around value for safety / price - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Cindy R - March 9 - 2:11 pmI did extensive research before deciding to buy the 2016 Rav4 Limited AWD with advanced tech package and TSS. The features I needed to have were Blind Spot Monitoring and Topview camera, in a SUV with a reasonable price. The closest competitors were the Nissan Rogue and Mazda CX5. Based on edmunds review of the Rogue with the clunky CVT engine and lesser resale value and reliability when compared to the Rav4, I opted for the Rav4. The CX5 had BSM but didnt have topview camera. The Rav4 has all the electronics I need for the next 10 years. The BSM is incredibly helpful and the topview camera allows me to park in the tightest of spaces. The Lane Departure Alert and Radar Cruise control are awesome, as are the Auto High Beams. Ive never had a Garmin but I do like the Toyota Navigation as it does its job for both giving directions and showing traffic. Some improvements are for the car to have a heated steering wheel option in the USA and to have an audio alert for the BSM. This is a great car for the value.

Rav 4 in time for the SNOW - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Coon - March 9 - 9:43 amLook online and figure out everything you want in and on your car. Talk with sales people from multiple dealerships and then make your choice. We tried all makes and models and narrowed our search. We live in the land of snow (average 30 feet a year, not stacked up). the Rav 4 handles awesome in the snow, icy roads, and the subzero temps.

First Rav4; Fourth Toyota - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Loyal2Toyota - November 14 - 1:52 amIve owned a 2000 Sienna, 2008 Prius, 2014 Prius and nor the Hybrid Rav4. Love its ability to handle snow and slush! Surprisingly, each newer Prius has had a more cramped interior with less storage than the preceding ones! Not sure why Toyota is squeezing the storage compartments out of its cars. Blind-spot and behind-the-car visibility gets worse year after year. And the styling seems to get more angular and funky year after year. So those are the things I wish Toyota management and design teams would address. On the positive side, the automatic braking assist has already helped in traffic! Thank you Toyota. And I love my dealers service team. Dependable, honest and concerned service staff has kept me a loyal Toyota customer more than the cars style, sticker price, or mileage stats. And I am so glad that Toyota is truly committed to hybrid technology. I think they do it best!

Great trade - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Sandy - October 20 - 3:22 amI traded in my Ford Escape because my lease was up for a 2016 Rav 4 SE. I had been with Ford for over 15 years. I drove the Rav 4 and instantly fell in love with the ride, the interior, the design...basically everything. For what I have in my 2016 Rav 4 SE and the price I got I couldnt touch a Ford Escape for that price. Great car!

Gotta love my Rav4 - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By William Rosa - September 30 - 11:05 amIve been a 3x RAV4 owner and wouldnt trade for any other SUV. The RAV4 has the power, speed and comfort and in my opinion the best mid-size SUV. It can take you anywhere.

RAV4 3 years and running..... - 2016 Toyota RAV4
By Darci S - July 3 - 8:25 pmI decided on a RAV4 after having owned Tercels, Camrys, and 4 runners....I did test a Honda CRV (do much noise and sloppy steering). Three years running and NOT a single problem!! I think its a great price for what you are getting. I personally dont like the 18 inch tires on my limited but there was no option for 17 at the time which works better for me in Montana on the snow and dirt roads. Much better ride. Not as much clearance as I would like but that 4 runner spoiled me..:) Other than that, I have been very happy with the great cargo space and the sound system rocks!!
