Overview & Reviews
Already sporty-looking, the RAV4 compact SUV gets even sportier thanks to a new optional sport package that adds a new grille, a hood scoop, color-keyed door handles, heated exterior mirrors, tubular roof rack and gray-painted bumpers and overfenders. Inside, the package adds special sport fabric seats.
- Steers and handles like a car, thoughtful cabin design, well-built interior.
- Small displacement engine for the class, noisy, most of the desirable equipment is optional.

Typical Toyota Quality - 2003 Toyota RAV4
By RGL - January 8 - 10:00 amMy 2003 RAV4 Sport is the 5th Toyota product we have purchased and it has delivered satisfaction. Those who have slammed the mini-"ute" have somehow forgotten that this is a 4 cylinder mini-suv. For driving around the city and periodic trips on the interstate the performance is satisfying. I have had no problems keeping up with more expensive vehicles on the interstate and at 75mph, the ride is quiet and comfortable. I am very satisfied with my RAV and yes it does deserve its rating as the top rated min- suv by Consumer Reports.

By Pooter - August 15 - 10:00 amI am a Toyota person and I had some reservation about the RAV4 but I loved the body style. I had 184,000 mile on my Camry and I need a new vehicle I shopped until I dropped and Hatfields gave me the best deal I went on week end trip and I love my new RAV4 it has the all wheel drive. I went from a V6 back to a 4 cyclinder and I love it.I cant say enought good this.

So far, so good... - 2003 Toyota RAV4
By Stu Cole - April 3 - 10:00 amJust bought this a couple months ago and loving it. A little pricey for the Sport package, considering its all cosmetic, but it does sharpen the looks quite a bit. Rides and handles almost as comfortably as the 1999 Camry we turned at end-of-lease to buy this. A little bumpier, a little noisier, but the plusses far outweight the few minuses. Love the space and ease, very comfortable, almost feels more like a station wagon than an SUV, but so compact and easy to handle.

380,000 and Still Going !!!!! - 2003 Toyota RAV4
By Rav-Fan - March 5 - 10:44 pmBought my Rav4L new 12 plus yrs.ago. Most dependable vehicle I have ever owned. Drove it for over 800 miles a wk for work. Starts in sub-zero weather, when our expensive vehicles would not. Maintenace cost almost nothing. Usual stuff....tires,got 109,000 out of one set, battery, brakes, wiper blades etc. this vehicle has saved me a fortune !!! Im retired and now my trusted vehicle is used for leisure, golf trips, ballgames etc. If I covered the odometer, you would think the vehicle has less than 50 K. Going to buy my wife a 2016 Rav, safe, dependable, fun to drive.
