Overview & Reviews
The Toyota RAV4 gains minor interior trim changes for 2010.
- Superb power and fuel economy from optional V6, huge cargo space with flat load floor, roomy second-row seating, balanced ride and handling, solid build quality, strong crash test scores.
- Interior has a budget feel, side-hinged rear gate impedes curbside loading, driver seat a tight fit for taller drivers.

Good car--dumb interior - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Sue in Colorado - November 4 - 1:26 pmTest drove & extensively researched both 2010 RAV4 & CRV before buying--(previously had a 2002 CRV & loved it). Comparison was a tossup, so got a RAV4 mostly just to "try something new". After 2 months...its a great car, but overall, think I preferred my CRV. RAV4 interior design/quality leaves much to be desired. Biggest letdown is the whole front console/storage/cupholder arrangement--storage room is unhandy and limited; your drink blocks access to some controls & dashboard storage nook; plastic is flimsy; center console too low for an armrest. And if they can dispense with the clunky exterior tire on Sport model--why not on ALL RAV4s??

Disappointed - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By exraver - February 2 - 5:00 amIts ok. Just ok. Just enough power. Quite disappointing mileage. Cheap feel to everything, especially closing doors. Sounds like tin can. Wish wed looked longer. Id be depressed if this were my car, its my wifes and she doesnt notice. Whew. Dealership staff were great to deal with however.
