Overview & Reviews
The Toyota RAV4 gains minor interior trim changes for 2010.
- Superb power and fuel economy from optional V6, huge cargo space with flat load floor, roomy second-row seating, balanced ride and handling, solid build quality, strong crash test scores.
- Interior has a budget feel, side-hinged rear gate impedes curbside loading, driver seat a tight fit for taller drivers.

2010 4 WD Limited RAV 4 - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By New RAV 4 owner - June 12 - 5:06 pmLeased 2 1/2 wks ago and took on a road trip. V-4 performed great in mountains; did not notice road noise others have noted; great cargo area; passenger seat comfortable, but driver seat tight for my 65" husband; agree that interior plastic looks cheap even for the limited; so far love the car and features; was much cheaper to lease than Honda CR-V;

Great little SUV!!! - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Dave - March 19 - 3:36 amThis is our 3rd Toyota and I hope this is half as good as our other ones! (2000 4Runner and 2000 Camry). So far we have had the Rav4 about 2 weeks now and it hasnt disappointed us in any way! The V6 is like a rocket. Just a little gas and you are gone! For such a peppy V6 the gas mileage is surprising good. The ride is comfortable and car like. This is my wifes vehicle and she loves to drive it! She didnt want anything too big to drive but she also wanted a large cargo area. The Rav4 nailed it. I hope others enjoy their Rav4 as much as we are enjoying ours so far. Great job Toyota. You did it AGAIN!

Great little SUV - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By nana - February 11 - 8:23 amSearched and researched for 10 months before purchasing my Rav 4. I havent regretted buying it for even one second! Average mileage is 27.7 combined over the life of the vehicle. Four cylinder has plenty of pep. Love having a hatch that hinges on the side as I am very petite.

Great Value Vehicle-Terrible Bluetooth Instructions! - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By hysteria - October 22 - 12:28 pmMy wife and I both love this vehicle. Weve taken it on 2 very long trips and it perfoms great. We get over 26 mpg. Our only gripe is that the bluetooth instructions in the owners manual are complete garbage! Ive had to take it to the dealer 3 times to get the bluetooth working. The rep at the dealership (who told me she had to "go to school to learn how to program phones for Toyotas bluetooth technology) had major problems trying to get our phones synched up. It took her over 40 minutes to get it working. She also stated NOT to follow the owners manual instructions. What should be an easy application made difficult by Toyotas good for nothing instructions.

Beware of Rough Ride - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Mark - October 6 - 12:33 pmTest drive the Sport Version with Run Flat Tires before you buy. The sport suspension with the run flat tires gives a very rough ride. Every bump in the road is felt. Everything else is great.

Great buy under $30,000 - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By NErealtor - October 1 - 4:53 pmPreviously owned a 98 olds bravada then an 03 chevy trail blazer. Liked both of them a lot. Both drove a little rough like a truck but served me well. I still wanted an SUV or crossover, one under $30,000, but with a little better gas mileage and handling. I test drove the Santa Fe, Tucson, Rogue, Escape, Edge, Outback, Forester, and Equinox. All had nice features, but non left me wanting to drive one home that day. Finally decided to drive the Rav4 and fell in love with it. Husband really likes it too and he doesnt care for suvs. Love the blue color and the V6. Its early, but think I will really like the Rav4. Got it for a good price according to Edmunds. Hope its great in the snow.

Really pleased - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By AndrewE - August 14 - 6:46 amTest drove this and Subaru Forester. Rav4 was miles ahead in comfort. Dealer was easy to work with and lease deal was better than any competition. Have driven 5000 mi. 3 things stand out to me a) it has good pickup for a 4 cyl, and corners really well. b) I am getting @28 mpg on average, not just highway, on some long trips I get 30. c) cabin features are real nice; decent stereo, lots of ergonomic storage. Biggest negative is high road noise at higher speeds. Changing out the OEM tires is probably first place to start. second negative is how many times Toyota keeps contacting me to ask about my experience(@ 20 emails and 2-3 phone calls). They should just focus on building cars.

BYE BYE Honda - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Chris - June 9 - 2:00 pmI have to admit, the V6 is a powerhouse. I opted for the 6 over the 4 and will sacrifice 2 miles per gallon any day. Outside of the truck is a beauty, I didnt like the wheel in the back on the standard model and went right to the Sport edition. The ride is a little hard, but its ok with me. I am usually a Honda guy, but the truck was too good to pass up. The stereo is pretty good, though I will add a sub woofer. Overall, this was a great purchase and can not wait for snow for the 4 x 4! Trust me folks, its a winner!

Love my RAV - 2010 Toyota RAV4
By Chrisa - May 26 - 4:46 amWe love our new 2010 Rav4 limited. In spite of the recent Toyota recall, we would buy again as theyve handled the situation well so far. This car just drove better and had better visibility than the CRV which was our #2 contender.
