Proud RAV4 owner - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By jeanette - October 6 - 10:43 pmI am a mom with 3 boys that play sports so the room in the cargo space is great. The third seat is nice when thier friends come along. Gas mileage is great compared to other suv. The RAV4 is everything that there is to love about a compact suv. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Had it a year and love it!! - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Carrie in PA - September 14 - 6:03 pmThis is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is fun to drive and when I want to get up and go she just flies. I have recommended a RAV4 to many people and they too have purchased them and loved them just as much. It has a nice turning radius, great on snow and ice, no lagging on hills. It cleans easily with just a wet rag, I did purchase rubber husky mats to preserve the floors (recommended). I average around 25.5 mpg and have gotten as much as 28 mpg on the highway. It is a bit lower in the winter (21-22 mpg) but I figure it is because of the AWD being used. Definitely not complaining there since I want to be safe.

The Cats Meow - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By LTD 4dr SUV 4WD w/V6 - August 8 - 9:46 pmOwned for 8months now and the Rav is everything and more than we expected it to be. We have all the bells and whistles with leather seats. The V6 has such quick acceleration, I can see why they used this car in the "24" series as a getaway car. The mileage on the highway is 29, around town 24. The Key is using cruise set at 65-70 on the highway. The upgraded stereo is like being at a concert. Driving the Rav is a pleasure and the tire on the back gives it a sporty accent. Love this SUV and so does my husband when I dont hide the keys!

By ravinitup - August 8 - 5:53 pmIve never had a new auto. I love this one. It is awesome! The V6 is very quick and the LED lights in the back are very sharp. I love the ride and the quality of the inside. I have the ash interior, silver exterior. It looks very nice with the brushed aluminum trim inside by the radio and on the door panels. I am going to be getting the bug guard, chrome exhaust tip, and running boards to complete the look. I also may order a Limited Grille to dress it up. The Limited has a different grille than the Base and Sport. Its just an awesome SUV and I love to drive it any chance that I get.

Impressive, fun to drive - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Ed - July 30 - 8:23 amWe traded a 2003 Honda CRV for the impressive Rav4 because of reliability, styling, peppy 4-cyl, room, rear storage.The Honda disappointed when it was in repair for one week with an engine problem. Never happened on the Toyotas I owned before the CRV.

By Anthony - July 13 - 8:40 amI have had the vehicle for only 2 weeks and I have been pleasantly surprised. Roomy, sufficient power from the 4 cylinder, great looks. We needed a small SUV that will give good gas mileage and it looks like we got it.

By so4reelz - July 7 - 4:00 amThis is my first SUV and my first Toyota. I have been driving this car for 3 months now, and Im still loving it. Ive made a couple snowboarding trips up the Rocky Mountains with 4 adult passengers and luggage, and the RAV did better than I had expected for an I4. I look forward to many years with this car.

The Best Bang for the Buck RAV4 V6 - 2006 Toyota RAV4
By Jimmy Drew - June 19 - 11:13 pmOnly had the car about 3 weeks now. The vehicle is really impressive with the fit and finish and the room inside. Love the design also. Quality all round is noted in this vehicle. Mileage is impressive for such a potent engine. This vehicle cruises at 80 mph and you feel you are going 50 mph. The upgraded radio is even worth the extra bucks.

By Lisa - June 2 - 3:00 pmJust bought it a week ago and love it! Fun to drive...still waiting to see on the fuel economy, doesnt seem like im getting 24 mpg. Very peppy even though its the 4 cylinder limited. Glad I got the side curtain airbags - pretty much got it all except leather (couldnt find it). Was a hard car to find. Dealers had a lot of 4 wheel drives and base and sport trims, not many Limiteds.
