  Love this car - 2004 Toyota Matrix

  From the moment I saw it I wanted it. I havent been disappointed yet. Lots of fun to drive and handles well. Not much of anything bad to say except it could be a bit more sound proof. Outside noise when driving on the highway isnt very good. Noise reduction hopefully in 2005 will improve.

  Only three problems--noisy on the highway ; that lower front "thing" gets scraped easily on its underside becasuse its so low; red dash lights sometimes make it difficult to see numbers when it is sunny.

  Fun, sharp-looking, economical, reliable - 2004 Toyota Matrix

  My 2004 Matrix is only the second car Ive owned in 20 years (my 1994 Audi finally died). I was reluctant to "trade down" to a Toyota, but I now have no regrets. This roomy, versatile vehicle is the same size as my little Audi (I measured!), and has a smaller turning radius, too. I have a 5-speed manual transmission that is smooth and fun to use. Driver visibility is fine all around, CD/radio sound system is quite good unless youre traveling at more than 50 MPH, when road noise competes. Cargo/passenger/folding seat options are terrific. Driver seat is very comfortable, even on 4-hour highway trips (cant say the same for the Audi!)Im averaging 30 mpg on regular fuel.

  THIS IS SUCH A GREAT CAR! I LOVE ALL THE SPACE AND THE WAY IT LOOKS. HONESTLY, THIS IS THE IDEAL CAR FOR ME...GREAT GAS MILEAGE, AFFORDABLE, SMALL CAR WITH LOTS OF SPACE. I COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE!

  The most elegant looking, economical spacious like a van and the best value for money. Compare the looks with a 40K Lexus RX 330 and compare the storage space after folding seats with an Odyssey. (I own that one too!) My biggest pleasant surprise after 5 yrs of use and fully paid auto loan I have an asset with book value of 11K !!

  Ive had this car for almost a year now, and I couldnt be happier. I have the XR model, fwd, auto and I was attending a school 3+ hours away from home in the Appalachian Mts (good to have a car that heats up quick). Lets just say when we had our snow storms I wasnt stuck at school. I drove home every weekend. The MPG great, and it handles perfect for me. This is my 4th car (one died from the weekend drives) and I can honestly say, I will have this one until it dies, or I decide to upgrade to an XRS. It was very helpful with the hauling of all my junk when I was moving in and out of the dorms. A++

  I love this car. I cant see myself in any other car, even my old Toyota Camry. Perfect for band equipment, amps, guitars, great for road trips, plus looks amazing for a night on the town, to the movies, the theatre, musical, opera, or club.

  Bought a Matrix two weeks ago and absolutely love it...wow what a car. The gas millage is well worth it and the performance is outstanding. Wanted a sedan and when I came across the Matrix I couldnt refuse after that. The car offers more space than two sedans put together, the seats fold down and its like having a flat bed. Also it reminds of it being a minature S.U.V. which provides the interior space inside of one too.
