My 1st 4 Runner - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By ownertobe1 - April 9 - 10:00 amI spent 6 months researching and looking for a new SUV and could not be happier with the purchase I made. I spent less money then I thought I would and received a fully loaded SUV with great styling and unmatched reliability. I looked at the Explorer, Yukon, Land Rover Discovery, and Ford Expedition. If you do not need a third row seat this SUV is an excellent choice.

Lexus Specs at a Toyota Price - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By kstitt - April 8 - 2:00 amThis SUV is very impressive. I looked at all competitors. I liked Lexus GX 470 (I have an LS400), but a loaded 4Runner with similar features was $12,000 less out the door. Most specs are the same except for headroom, wood int trim, third row seat and DVD entertainment system which I didnt want. Offers plenty of power, great ride, handling & off-road capability. Great machine and fun to drive!

not bad at all - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By blitzwood - February 25 - 2:00 amI love the economy and versatility of the v-6, only wish it had a little more torqe for better towing. I wasnt thrilled with the plastic panels, but understood the reasoning behind them so didnt really mind them. Thats until I backed into a parked Mustang, barely tapping it with the rear plastic corner bumper. Nothing happened to the Mustang, but the corner bumper had to be replaced. I couldnt believe how cheaply built this important feature was. Only thing worse was the cost to replace it. For example, this little 3"x4" red reflector costs $93. Nevertheless, Id still recommend it.

The best suv on the planet - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Miguel Torres - February 23 - 12:20 pmI have had three 4Runners, 1993, 1995 and 2003. I have the last once since it was new on 2003, and right now I have 6 years with it, with 110,000 miles and still be a perfect SUV. Perfect movements, great acceleration, nice gear, excellent motor, and beautiful body interior and exterior. Few years ago, I bought a used Jaguar Xtype, and my 4Runner has more luxury than it, and the quality and reliability of this vehicle was nasty. But, my V8 4.7L,4WD LIMITED EDITION 4RUNNER is the BEST BUY I made! Perfect combination between a strong and luxurious vehicle!

By timkarr - February 8 - 2:00 amWhat can I say? Toyota really knows how to build one hell of an SUV! Exceptional quality throughout the vehicle. Vehicle rides surprising smooth and quiet, especially for an SUV. NICE! :-)
