  • Excellent SUV - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

Toyota has made me very happy, The 4 Runner is the best vehicle I have ever driven, So many standard features without a large price tag. So many wonderful uses for the 4 Runner, Rugged yet very nice and elegant at the same time. Thank you Toyota for making my decision easy when purchasing a new SUV, the choice was very clear!

  • Best Buy Ever - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I bought my 4runner Limited 2wd certified vech, I have had this vech for six months, the more I drive it the more I like it. My Limited came with all the features, JBL sound system, Nav system, rear camera, driver and passenger air bags, sunroof, night time rear view mirror, compast, 17 inch rims, running (lit) boards. The ride is smooth and swift, runs on regular unleaded, gets 18mpg in the city and 24 on the hwy. I have put six thousands trouble free miles on this vech, maints is low change the oil and drive, I live in the land of Cars Los Angeles, You name it we drive it and still prefer my 4runner Limited because it fits in every where from Beverly Hills to beaches of Malibu.

  • Great SUV - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I have only owned the vehicle for a few weeks, but I can already tell that I made a smart decision in buying this SUV. It is a well made vehicle (no rattles, quiet, excellent interior materials, etc.). I am also suprised at the gas mileage, it is better than I expected at 23-24 mpg on recent trip. I previously owned a Ford Escape, which was also a fine SUV, but the 4Runner is better in every way.

  • Best SUV made for the price - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

This is a high-end vehicle for a mid- range price. I purchased my 4-runner brand new and 63,000 miles later have only one regret. This truck was not the best design for tall people but ok with the floor position for the seat completely back. Not much ceiling clearance either. Now with that said the Toyota 4- runner deserves recognition as a premier SUV by which all others should be judged. Large enough for a family of 4 to take on vacation, convenient roof racks ,and equipped with a powerful 4.0L engine that can effortlessly take you anywhere. Toyota has always impressed me with quality control that is unparalleled by any auto maker in for comparatively priced vehicles.

  • Super Buy - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I bought this after owning a Highlander 4 cyl. for 18 months. Wish I had bought the 4Runner 1st. This is a super buy. I am a toyota believer now. This is so much more vehicle for the money than the highlander was. I am really pleased.

  • LTD 4WD 4RUNNER - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I traded in a Lexus ES 300 for my new 4Runner and I get almost as good gas mileage with the SUV (16-16.5 city) as I did with the lexus (17). The 4 runner drives beautifully and is well made.

  • Love it! - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

We needed to replace our Xterra as we were concerned about overall safety and stability. After reading on Edmunds how the 4Runner was redesigned in 2003 to widen the stance and improve handling, stability, safety, performance and fuel economy. We had to try it. We drove it and instantly knew that this vehicle would serve multiple purposes--it was safe enough to cart the toddlers around and rugged enough to take anywhere. We love all of the standard features, but most of all we love how solid this vehicle feels and how well it drives.

Great performance on paved road and offroad. Powerful, comfortable and fun. Best vehicle I ever owned.

  • Great Vehicle - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

This is my second 4Runner and the first Sport Edition that I have purchased. Thus far I have been very impressed with the vehicle. I am getting between highway and city 21.6 mpg so fuel economy is slightly better than advertised. The ride is smooth and the room (I am 62") is more than sufficient. The SUV handles snow very well as I live outside of Boston and handled two 10" storms very smoothly. Visibility in the car is great as well. Satisfied buyer.

  • NO ONE BUILDS A BETTER VEHICLE - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

The quality of this SUV is amazing. Doors that shut right, fit and finish that is unmistakably Toyota. For a solid rear axle this thing rides great. It is quiet and comfortable. The features are great. Not one single problem. No regrets buying this vehicle.
