Great Truck - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By LBK - July 6 - 9:43 pmThe 2004 4Runner is truly an excellent SUV. Ive owned it for 5+ years, 88,000 miles and it has never required service for any problem. Mine has the V8 and it is AWD. It is really a perfect drive train combination. Handles well, comfortable, smooth ride and looks great. My only complaint is that the interior needs to be some design improvements and the GPS navigation could be a little better. See suggested improvements. This aside, Id buy another one for sure. It is the best vehicle Ive ever owned.

4Runner - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Rachelle - June 24 - 1:00 pmOverall, this is a great vehicle. Powerful, reliable, dependable, and is the perfect size. I am a volunteer firefighter and was looking for something bigger to fit my gear, plus have enough room for other things. This was the perfect fit.

My First SUV - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By M. Spain - June 23 - 2:00 amI Just recently purchased a 4Runner SR5, and absolutely love this vehichle, it has nice pick up and is very comfortable to ride in, this is my first SUV, however, i was able to test drive a few models and decided on the 4Runner over the Grand Cherokee, Highlander and Pilot, the closest competion came from the Mitsubishi Endeavor but I chose the 4runner for Toyotas overall Reliability.

224k (12-2-2011) on Clock and the engine still running like new. - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By superdjlgyboy - June 3 - 6:07 pmBest value for the mid SUV class. This car would not give any troubles if following all the maintenance schedules.(including O2 sensors and fuel injector cleaner and drive belt every 100K). :) Never call roadside assistance again after purchased this vehicle.

Great Vehicle - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By PL3828 - June 3 - 3:06 pmI am so impressed with the reliability and performance of my Toyota 4Runner that I dont think I will ever buy any brand other than Toyota. Its nice to know that every morning when I leave for work that I will not have to worry about my vehicle starting and getting me where I need to go in comfort and style. I have owned American cars in the past and they just cant touch Toyota in terms of reliability. Have driven over 45000 miles in less than two years and not had ANY problems. I drive about 55-60 miles per hour on the highway and average 25- 26 mpg.

Smooth like my brandy - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By Michael T. Penna - May 11 - 2:00 amThis 4runner handles very well. I wish the gas mileage was a little bit better. V6 245hp and 5hp more than V8. Smooth just like my brandy.

Great Truck with one issue - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
By hedofbred - April 30 - 10:00 amExcellent truck for the price, and all that Toyota quality. One outstanding issue is with the drivers seat. It seems to disengage itself from whatever position you locked it in. Its like a little click and it happens every time you accelerate or brake ie; motion makes this happen.
