Good Buy - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By flyfisherman - March 18 - 10:00 amGreat truck. 6600 miles in 2.5 months. Styling is a great improvement over previous years. Depreciates very little compared to most SUV vehicles (Unlike my Land Rover)Drivers seat is loose in the seat tracks which is a design flaw. I weigh over 200lbs and its noticeable especially making quick turns. Steering shakes between 55 and 70 like its out of balnace but has magically disappeared.???????

True SUV - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By JP Chris - March 18 - 10:00 amBuilt to perform as an SUV should. This is not a sissy AWD vehicle. Excellent performance for off roading and surprising smooth ride and comfort for the type of frame it is built on. Plenty of pulling power and sports-car- like acceleration. Excellent anti-roll system. Incredibly smooth auto transmission. I wasnt a big fan of Toyota to begin with. Im originally a true Jeep believer that has now seen the light.

Great Rig - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Bill - March 3 - 10:30 pmI absolutely love my 2003 4Runner. Its roomy, comfortable, reliable and good looking, too. I also own a BMW 740 and my g/f comments on the 4Runners good looks more often than the Bimmer. In fact, given the option, shed drive the 4Runner first. Interesting. The Toyota V8 is a beautiful running engine and I still get a respectable 17 mpg around town, 21 highway. Oh, I also appreciate the good ground clearance, 4WD and ABS because I live in snow country. This thing is very sure footed.

2003 SR5 Toyota 4Runner - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By D&N 4Runner - February 23 - 8:26 amI bought this used in 2007 with 57,000 miles. It currently has 82,000 miles. I have had to replace the blower motor and AC relay ($500+). Also, there is a sulfur smell that happens when the rear window is down and also comes through the vents when driving. Toyotas answer is change the gas to a better grade, WHICH does not help. I bought the vehicle for its reliability factor and now looking at taking a loss and trading it in. Toyota should step up and fix this issue ASAP.

High expectations...High performance - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Suburbian Motown - February 21 - 2:00 amWe have owned our 4Runner Limited for two months now and it has delivered a high quality ride in everyway(except for good gas mileage, but we did not expect that). The 4Runner oozes with quality and performance. It is not the most flashy truck on the market or a red hot fad; however, our experience tell us this truck will deliver consistent and superior performace for may years to come. We would highly recommend this truck to those people seeking a high quality, highly versatille truck with strong craftsmanship. The price for the Limited is steep but for a truck that you can expect to put 200K-300K miles on with limited problems, it is still a steal!

Beautiful SUV - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Jawn - February 21 - 2:00 amI find this SUV to be incredible.... the ride awesome and it has fantastic capabilities. Ive had 2 4 Runners before and waited for the AWD to be introduced... it was worth the wait!! The V8 power is great and it rides beautifully. The only problem Ive had so far is the 6 in-dash CD player has jammed and is in for replacement!!

Toyota did it again - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By urgood - February 15 - 10:00 amThis is a good SUV. Toyota had added a lot of safety feature in its. Especially, the back door has feature that the motor assist to close the door. The ride is exceptional good, it made you felt solid and tough on-road or off-road. The engine 4.0 v6 is very good to handle all you need. If you have to tow very heavy load, go with V8

4runner Sports Edition - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By JohnA13213 - February 15 - 10:00 amJust purchased my 4runner and already Im in love. This is the best SUV Ive driven. In the past Ive had a Tahoe, and Explorer, neither hold up to my 4runner. If you are considering any of the above, do yourself a favor and test drive them 2 or 3 times. Take your time so you can make an informed decision.

Cant say enough - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By jango - February 15 - 10:00 amI had been looking to get rid of my S80 T6 and wanted a SUV with more car like qualities. First looked at the Murano..nice but not worth the money and too small. Next was the FX 35... nice too but not worth the money, small, features were too expensive. Next was the 4-runner. I was blown away. I test drove all the others and they cant even come close to the feel and performance and reliabilty factor of this truck. I feel like I am drive a sport tank from mad max. The seats are extremely comfortable for cloth and the V-8 is way nicer feeling than the v- 6. 4-runner is the way to go. You cant beat that!!!! I cant even look at anything else.
