Great SUV, go anywhere - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By John - February 12 - 11:23 amI love my 4runner. I owned a 99 Land Rover Discover II and bought this 4 runner used with 11000 on it. So far, it has only been to the shop because of a querky sun roof gear, but it was fixed, no questions asked. The suspension is the XReas and does great, but makes a noise when you hit a bump making a sharp turn going slowly. The other odd thing is that it squeals when it warms up, but that is a V6 issue and is common with all V6s supposedly, only happens for maybe 30 seconds, and isnt noticeable inside the vehicle because of the excellent noise reduction Toyota has in the vehicle. I love the SUV, recommend it to everyone and I say, great job Toyota, oh yeah V6 acts like a V8.

2003 4runner - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Gaschley - February 5 - 2:00 amMyself, family and dog love the vehicle. Not too big for getting around town, but very capable on highway. Gas mileage not good, but knew that getting in to it. I have a 6yo, and this will be her first car.

Oh What a Feeling - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Sharper - January 11 - 10:00 amPicked up my new 4Runner in early February - 5 days before a major winter storm (18" of snow). Absolutely LOVE this vehicle. Fantastic in the snow - exceeded my expectations all the way. Very comfortable, more than adequate power, lots of room for all passangers. Quality built and a blast to drive. Ive got over 7K miles on it now and people are still asking how I like it and I still answer the same - I absolutely love it - I have nothing bad to say. Oh, and Im getting almost 21 miles per gallon on the highway - you cant beat that in an SUV!!

2003 4Runner SR5 2WD V-8 - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By sbncolr - January 6 - 10:00 amBought this vehicle over a 2003 Pilot, which was hard to find in the right color and cost $2,600 more. My drive out price w/ lighted running boards, the appearance pack., and auto-dimming rear view mirror was $28.1K. The car came with a bad tire (Michellin CrossTerrain), which was promptly replaced by the dealership, but no defects so far. For dollar for dollar, this is one of the best value vehicles in the category. Glad that I got the V-8 over V-6, as the difference in fuel economy is minimal, but the bigger engine is so quite, smooth, and powerful.

WOW!! This is what I was looking for. - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By trophycat - January 6 - 10:00 amReally wasnt looking to buy, but after a test drive I found myself sitting at the table with a salesman working on numbers. I was impressed with the new V6 engine and the quietness of the cabin at speeds. Vehicle had all the features we were looking for which came standard.

By wingotop - December 19 - 10:00 amV8 has tremendous power and good fuel economy considering the higher horsepower. Seats are very comfortable. It has lots of room and more features than I even know how to use.

OUTSTANDING TOP TO BOTTOM - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By PETENAMYT - December 5 - 2:00 amWe had a 99 4 Runner, and at the time thought it was the greatest, now that weve had our 2003 for a few weeks we cant believe how much it has been improved. Its bigger, faster, quieter and more comfortable, and the price from what I can tell is actually lower even though its an 8 and not a 6.
