Great Car - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By javer - November 18 - 10:00 amIf you want a great car to drive this is it. I have had many cars over the years, but the 4Runner (new style) is GREAT! The only draw back is the gas mileage, but its not bad for a V8. I have averaged between 13-23MPG. Thanks Toyota!

By dms4 - November 9 - 2:00 amGreat SUV...Toyota does it again! Improved power, ride, handling, comfort and styling. Smooth, pwerful and resposive V-8 with silky smooth 5spd automatic transmission. Controls are great. Picked the Limited for full time 4wd, power and smoothness (alos didnt like SR5 or Sport gray platic body cladding).

ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!! - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By mcfibbler - October 30 - 10:00 amGreat truck but need questions answered! First Toyota and am loving it - love all the features but have some questions to see if other users having same problems. 1. I get shocked when I get out of the car... every time - how do I lose the static electricity? 2. The lumbar feels like it gives when I accelerate, like the plastic or whatever has cracked on the seat? 3. Double decker - sort of cool but can I take it out? has been more of a pain than useful b/c when I put stuff on there and accelerate, it usually falls off. 4. Back window seems to shake a lot (unstable) when driving with it partially down. 5. WHen changing gears car jumps.

Very dependable and reliable - Great Truck - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By G.D. - October 15 - 4:34 pmBrought this vehicle off the lot and only had one major problem (fuel lines replacement for $1,000) other than that I had no other major issues. Its great on highway at 25 or more per gallon driving 55 or 65 mph. I could go on but its a great truck. I currently have 198K and I have a second used 4runner (2004 V8 4x4) with over 250k that I bought with 203K and it still runs great.

A Must Drive - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By gb - August 11 - 2:00 amPurchased 03 4 runner limited, 4x4, V8 and Wow! I knew it was nice during the test drive but the more I drive it the better I like it. This vehicle is extremely well built and everything about it was well thought out by Toyota. The V8 power with the new 5 speed auto trans. is very smooth and it feels like an expensive, high end luxary car. The suspension is firm yet comfortable. If you think this 4 runner is anything like the old one, think again. If your thinking of buying an new car or SUV, this is a MUST drive! I love it.

I love my 4Runner - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By KHoerner - August 6 - 10:00 amMy husband gave me a 50K allowance on a new car. I saw the 32K Sport Edition V8 4Runner, took a test drive ... and fell in love. I have driven it from TX to CA twice, all round TX and in the LA traffic - this car is a joy to own, fun to drive, has tons of pep but is very safe and reliable since I am starting a new family. It has a fun classy exterior, comfortable interior - and it is so so very quiet!

My first SUV ever! - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By ghostrider - July 30 - 10:00 amI literally have only had this truck for 24 hrs, but had to comment. I never owned an suv before but always thought about it. I am happy with this one. It feels comfortable to me(5ft 1 in) and I feel like I sit high in it! It is classy yet also fun. I have driven most of the competitors and hands down, the 4runner has everything a person would need in an suv.
