The base V6 now comes with a five-speed automatic, while the optional V8 has been upgraded to deliver 270-hp and 330 pound-feet of torque. A rollover sensor now comes with the optional head curtain airbag system. A limited-slip differential has been added to the stability control system. SR5 models now feature a chrome grille, color-keyed bumpers and black running boards, while the Sport model get a color-keyed grille. All Limiteds receive color-keyed bumpers, illuminated black running boards and a black roof rack.

  Had to get a vehicle that would get me to hocky rinks in the winter in New England. After asking every Runner owner I came in contact with this was a no brainer. Comfort, convenience, room to carry hockey stuff. Our first 7 inch snowfall happened two week before Thanksgiving. It was a breeze to get it in 4wd and go thru the stuff 500 miles to Lake Placid for a tournament. Get One! My wife wants one of her own!

  I had a hard time making up my mind but then when I drove the 4 Runner I couldnt believe how smooth and powerful it was for a 6cyl. It honestly feels like an 8cyl. I had a 95 Lexus GS 300 and my 4 Runner is much smoother and quieter. The resale value is the best from any SUV. There is no reason to buy anything else. If you drive this truck you will think youre driving a Lexus truck. Before I purchased my 4 Runner I read a lot of reviews and everyone loves their 4 Runner. I couldnt find any negative comments. Well maybe one but Im sure that was someone who regrets not purchasing one.

  Strong V6, smooth tranny, nice styling, feels solid and strong. Overall a very good vehicle purchased used with 30k but feels brand new. The roof rack is very sturdy as are the running boards. Braking performance is very good. Overall smooth, strong, quiet performance. Tows well and is very fun off road.

  overall this vehicle gives you the peace of mind both on road and off. It has plenty of power with the v-6 for passing and towing. Off road it is amazing as it climbs like it is glued to the trail and then back on the road it feels like a sport sedan.Very fun to drive and the "cool" factor is always there.

  Since Ive purchased this vehicle, it continues to surprise me. Its fantastic in the woods and terrific on the highway. Ive had three people ask me if they could buy it from me after theyve ridden in it with me. I have never owned a better vehicle and all Ive ever owned were four wheel drive trucks or SUVs. This is an absolute must if you want to get where youre going, no matter what type of weather or what type of road. Its the most dependable vehicle I ever owned...not one problem since I bought it. I absolutely cannot say enough about it - its great. I travel for a living and its a pleasure to go anyplace with this vehicle. Awesome!!!

  Im actually in shock that I have this baby. I have a couple of toyota pickup, most recently an 03 Tacoma Quad cab and this 4Runner blows them all away. The ride is much more comfortable than the truck I had. The 6 cyl is 55 hp faster than the truck and I can definitely tell the difference.

  Best SUV, really dependable, the V8 is were its at. Since its a toyota.... you wont need to replace alot of things till 200,000 miles.

  Great ride, comfort, leg room, storage room aplenty, pickup great, have received several compliments on car, could not be more pleased with quality, finish and comfort of the 4runner.
