2003 Toyta 4-Runner - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Giles B. Diemert - August 23 - 2:00 amFrom the moment I purchased this vehicle, I put it to the test. With only 1200 miles on it I was traveling at 115 mph with ease. I am the Vice- President of a Toyota and Lexus dealership, so I know how these vehicles are to preform. I have had 3 Lexus sports cars in the last 3 years, including an SC 300 and an IS 300 and this vehicle would out-perform any of them. With its all wheel drive system and a huge V-8 with the X-REAS suspension this is the best vehicle Ive ever had.

Great Work Toyota! - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Tyrone Bookman - August 23 - 2:00 amIm new to the 4 Runner but not to Toyota. This is my fourth and my best experience yet. When I test drove the V-8 Limited I was was sold. My dealership provided pricing that was very competetive accompanied with Quality service. Just took it up the coast.....loved it!!!!

Has build quality diminished? - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By so_cali - August 13 - 10:00 amJust took delivery of this vehicle and found it has an annoying rattle in the sunroof headliner area. Hopefully this is fixable. Otherwise it seems very good. I like the orange guages at night but dislike the hac controls - too gimicky. I got black with the gray cladding and prefer the look with the contrasting flat gray cladding, even though Toyota is apparently not using it any longer.

I love this truck - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By sharynlee - August 6 - 10:00 amI have always wanted a 4runner. This truck is gorgeous and rides like butter. I drove it from New York to Florida and back. It was a pleasure. The black body with the silver inserts on the bumper is really sharp. Great truck.

MY TOYOTA :: Can you say Lemon! - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Steve Burleson - August 6 - 10:00 am1.The tires weights were 90 degrees off of balance and the weights were the wrong size on those tires. 2.Wind noise in the front driver side door (somewhere) 3.When I apply the brakes while driving the vehicle will sometimes pull severly to the right or left as if the brakes are not properly adjusted or the alignment. 4.Engine tapping (lifter noise) coming from the right front that is significant but seems to somewhat diminish goes after the engine is warmed up. 5.CD player would not work without CDs skipping. Dealer of course says everything is perfect, noting the dealer did change out the CD player.

SR5 V8 4WD - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By Mark - August 5 - 8:43 amAbsolutely great ride! Perfect performer. Pulls 3400# Boat w/no probs (rated for 7000#) through mountains! Full time 4wd makes seamless driving in mud (snow tests this winter)! Miss my Tundras hauling abilities (the truck bed) but what could I expect? Yes, sulfer smell with rear window open and engine under pressure. Sunroof is great. MPG is 15- 20, constant 2-3 under what the onboard computer states.?. Tons of compliments!

Excellent!! - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By lovedirt12 - July 24 - 9:50 amMy husband talked me into this car. I wanted something small. It was the best purchase I ever made! It gets good gas mileage, rides and drives like a luxury car, is perfect on long trips for everyone. Lots of space, lots of storage compartments with NO wasted space. perfect for a female cause it has lots of cubyholes. Easy to change rear seats and storage divider. Quiet, comfortable, reliable, and gadutes! What more could you want?!?

Off road fun - 2003 Toyota 4Runner
By madmary - June 12 - 2:00 amThis is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I took it off road at an Army base. It did everything that the HUMVEEs did. Of course I was a little bit leary, but the truck wasnt! I cant wait until it gets a little older so I can really have some fun with it. My husband has a Lincoln LS, and the ride of the 4 Runner is just as smooth on road.
