  • Its not all perfect - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

Gas mileage for my 4Runner was equal to my previous Suburban. Passenger seat broke 3 months after purchase, rarely used. Drivers seat broke 2 yrs, & I had to pay half of $600.00 to fix it! Replaced brakes at approx 88,000 km, normal. Drives excellent, no major maintenance costs unlike the Suburban. But the side mirrors are in my face, and major blind spots. Friends who have driven my vehicle find the same problem. For this reason, I wouldnt buy another 4Runner. I have had too many near accidents due to this problem, and prior to this vehicle, Ive never had so many potentials! Stereo could be better. 1 to 2 minutes for 4WD to engage & disengage! Thats too long.

This is by far the best 4Runner Toyota has offered the consumer.Toyota has not left anything out with this new model, Great performance, beautiful styling, all the comforts of home and superb off road and on the pavement. After test driving the competition before buying, I am glad I decided to remain with the Toyota 4Runner.

  • Fantastic Truck - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

This truck is amazing. The six is just as good as the 8, if not better. It drives like a car, its smooth, and has a turning radius that is unbelievable. NOTHING but good things to say about it.

  • The BEST SUV Ever! - 2004 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

The Toyota 4Runner is the only SUV id ever buy. I previously had a 1996 Toyota 4Runner and it is still in excellent condition. Because my first 4Runner never gave me any problems, there was no hesitation when I decided to purchase another vehicle. The 4Runners are good reliable vehicles, very seldom give you any problems and have a very good life. I would recommend the Toyota 4Runner to anyone in the market for an SUV.

  • Solid Reliable Performance - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

Vehicle is extremely versatile for outdoor recreation enthusiasts. From skiing, backpacking, camping, to towing, this vehicle does it all very well and with style. Form, Fit, and Function are all mastered at a level that makes this SUV a true work horse while yet providing a range of performance and comfort that rivals most performance autos. Like the majority of Toyotas, once you buy one you most likely will not need the warranty. They just keep runing and running....

Rides better than any vehicle Ive ever been in... and I can adjust the seat and steering wheel so that I can see over it!!! And the butt-warmer is fabulous!!!! Weve traveled from MO to NC... and the ride was so comfortable.. and the features. absolutely wonderful.. great stereo.. love that the kids can listen to their cds in the back while we listen to our music up front... driving and handling is a breeze.. and the ease of the electric mirror adjustments, auto lights, I cant say enough good about it.. and it cranks right up every time.. and the mileage for the vehicle is impressive..
