  • Very Happy! - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

This is a very cool SUV. It provides comfort, style, safety and, more importantly, reliability. Its new exterior design is unique but still retains the rugged look that is specific to 4Runners all over the world. The interior has great features that many other manufacturers need to take note of. We upgraded to leather, and glad we did. Cloth interior with a 3 year old spilling and dropping stuff all the time is just not smart. The engine is powerful, and will get you out into traffic safely, but wont throw you in the back seat. Its an SUV. Gas milage is impressive but with fuel prices these days im even happier with how it does on fuel. Its worth the extra $$!

  • Great off the road - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Just got back from a month in the Colorado Rockies. Had the vehicle over 13,000 ft and it was still looking for trees to climb. Best 4WD Ive ever had. Great size to get through narrow, one way passes. Short wheel base & turning radius make switch backs a breeze. One of the smoothest riding vehicles Ive ever had on the highway.

  • After One Month - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

We had a 2004 6 cyl 4WD SR5 which we were very pleased with-excellent performance and reliability. We decided to buy the new SR5 and have been driving it 4 weeks. First off, a review at this site describes it as "taller, wider, longer." It is not wider and longer enough to be noticeable-but believe me it is quite a bit taller. Dont buy this unless the woman/children in the family climb in so everyone is on board with the height-it is significantly higher than the previous model. The trade off is the improved off road clearance. The ride is great, acceleration satisfactory, perfect build quality. We started off with 18.5 mpg and our last tank was 21 mpg.

  • Love it.... - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Purchased for commute, hauling dogs, camping and minor offroading. Very impressed with how nice of a ride this vehicle offers on highway and back roads. One of the few SUVs on truck frame, but rides very nice. Ton of great options.

  • Fifth 4 Runner Owned - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

Have owned five 4 runners to date including the original fiberglass cap model and all other generations. This one is the best yet. Drive is firm, acceleration and power fits my needs and the look of it in black with the 20 inch wheels is awesome. In a world of pregnant looking station wagons parading around as SUVs this is a refreshing change. Sound system and navigation system work beyond my expectations.

  • Best Off Roader in the world - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

This is a one of a kind machines. It works wonders off road but is still very comfortable on the pavement.

  • Perfect! - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

Toyota is the only make that I will ever buy. The SUV runs great, smooth, quiet and has so many niceties that it makes driving an enjoyable experience. The body of the 4Runner is bold and modern and the internal configuration is very user friendly.

  • Another 4-Runner for me - 2010 Toyota 4Runner

We purchased our 2010 Limited 4-runner 3 weeks ago an so far we are very pleased with the decision. We had previously owned an 04 4 runner which we also liked a lot except that it was a little difficult to control in heavy cross winds. The new 2010 4-runner does not have this problem and seems very stable with any cross-wind. Ride is much smoother than previous generation 4-runner and so far our fuel economy is 18.5 mostly city driving. Wish Toyota had put running boards on as standard. We will have to purchase instead but havent decided where yet. Overall , very pleased with fit and finish, ride and comfort. Telephone interface/Bluetooth is excellent and the Nav unit is also very good.

  • Good driving - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

After driving 8 months and 12k miles I still feel this is a very comfortable and reliable truck. Good for off roading as well as daily commute. Averaging 19.5 M.P.G in mixed driving which is excellent for a 6 thousand pound vehicle having a 4.0 L V6(278 ft-lb torque). The silver color really shines. Seats high up and has a commanding view of the surrounding. Coming from a German sedan i feel like this is a must have for people who have bad roads in your town. My BMW had stiff ride, but now I never complain about those roads.

  • Great Vehicle - 2010 Toyota 4Runner
    By -

I tow a boat so I feel more comfortable with a body on frame setup. I fell in love with the 4 runner after the first drive. It is comfortable and has a great quiet ride. I got 21 mpg in mixed driving which I was pleasantly surprised. I traded in a 2002 Tahoe which was a great vehicle and I use to get 16.5 mpg under the same driving conditions. My only complaints are that you cant get some options on the SR5. I dont like leather seats, there cold in the winter and hot in the summer, but most of all in my opinion they are not nearly as comfortable as cloth. So I dont want to pay for something I dont like. I dont know why car companies dont offer their upper end models without leather!
