  • I love what you do for me! Moving forward - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I have just had my 4Runner for under a week. I already love it. When I drive it I already feel the quality behind it. Maybe it has something to do with my current studies behind the legendary Toyota manufacturing process. I also like the fact that the cars parts are 95% Japanese. I feel like Im driving a luxury SUV, but then again I havent test driven the Lexus GX which costs almost twice as much! (Pretty much the same car). At any rate, I couldnt be more happy with my purchase. Too bad it seems like everyone else is buying a new 4Runner as well.

  • Bought the 5 yr 100 mile warranty - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I like to keep my cars the life of the warranty or the years I buy whichever comes first. This car is a jewel and I love driving it. Compares well with my sisters Lexus SUV for performance. Wasnt cheap, I bought everything I could to enhance my enjoyment but Im using the frills and loving my ride and the perks. This is a car that will way outlast my warranty and the years ...

  • 4Runner after 9000 miles - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

Excellent in snow and ice, better fuel economy than I expected (17-18 mpg) Solid feel on highway at speed, very quiet inside cabin. Good layout for driver. Rear seats fold very nicely for added cargo room. Tire pressure warning light needs temperature compensation, as it glows when outside temp drops into the teens. Love the heated seats. Quality inside and out. Sound system is tops.Tach dial view is partly blocked on right side

I was bugging my husband for a new TRUCK. We went to the dealership - looked at what they had in stock and was told that there was a shipment coming in the following day. He returned to the dealership and brought home my new toy - I LOVE IT!

  • fuel mileage is terrible, but hey its a truck - 2005 Toyota 4Runner

I owned a tacoma 4wd standard cab and put 50k on it with not a problem one (save a sqeaky clutch pedal). The 4runner is great overall, but 15 mpg seems pretty weak to me. The trip computer doesnt tell the truth either. other than that, the tire pressure sensor, the auto a/c, and steering wheel controls. Its a great truck.

This is my 3rd 4-Runner and the best so far. Smooth ride, power to tow my boat, very roomy and comfortable ( I am 65" tall). I would not drive anything else!!

Toyota really put the things in this vehicle that customers want from cupholders to performance. Comfort and convenience is a main concern for me and Toyota aced the test. 4Runners also have good gas mileage which for the vehicle I dont think anything compares plus their reputation for quality durability and reliability is awesome so pay more for the peace of mind which is what I will always do.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new 4runner. First SUV I have owned and first toyota. I have MS and find the vehicle easy to get into and out of, also very comfortable for me to sit in for long periods of time! Ride is great!!! Would buy one again in a minute!

I love my 05 4runner. Im looking to purchase a new one. Hoping the 2010 models are built as well as 2005. Only problem I had with 2005 was the moonroof quit around 58,000 miles, costs $2000 to repair, but just had them permanently close it. I will still buy one with moonroof--love the lighting. New brakes installed with 90K miles, new tires at 78K miles. NO issues whatsoever with this vehicle.
