This is my first S.U.V. I have always had sport cars, and now w/ having a family i had to upgrade. After driving in this 4runner i dont know what i was doing driving cars. This has got to be the most appealing vehicle S.U.V. out there. Its appealing to the eye outside as well as inside. Not to mention..options..options..options. The limited comes w/ everything. Great power for a six, comfort, and everything else. Toyota did this vehicle right.

Well, I am 16 years old and this 4Runner has great pick up, you do not need to buy the expensive stereo to get great sound the basic is just as good as the rest, i dont even know how i did that? This SUV rides very smooth, my brother has a Highlander and the 4Runner compared to it is much better, if your looking at the Highlander go for the 4Runner, trust me you will regret it if your dont. the highlander V4 and the 4Runner V6 get basically the same milage around 16 or 17 mpg.

  • My 2nd and not my lastÂ… - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

This is my 2nd 4runner which replaced a 2000 SR5 Sport and will certainly not be my last. Bigger, quieter, more comfortable and tons of standard features makes it stand out from the rest. The price helps too. I got mine for a little over $29k. Simply put: this is one of the best SUVs on the market. Great price, features and Toyota build quality and reliability.

Ride is okay as compared to my Highlander. Handling is good and performance supprising. Towing of my boat is excellent very stable, and plenty of power for normal driving. Interior is very attractive. Toyota quality is excellent as always (3rd vehicle)

I couldnt love a car more, its a solid and smooth driving SUV. I have owned several and this is by far my favorite. I was thinking of trading it in but cant find anything that drives as smoothly for the same price.

  • High Quality Product - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

Bought the 6cyl LTD 4Runner new and have put 5000 miles on it. Very pleased overall with this SUV vs the Jeep GC I previously owned. This vehicle exudes quality and great driveability. Combines off road capability with car like comfort on the highway. My main beef is the comfort factor of the front bucket seats could be greatly improved-- not enough cushion and about 2 inches shorter than should be for my 6 foot frame. Also rear side view visibilty not adequate. But overall this is a great SUV. I expect many years of quality performance from this vehicle

  • Why bother looking at anything else - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I waited 6 months before rating the 4Runner so I would be objective and not name struck. This vehicle is second to none, you can forget about other SUVs...at about 40-50% less than the price of "other" performance SUVs, you are getting rear end kicking performance, comfort and build quality 2nd to none. Dont even listen to anyone comparing this ride to an Exp or Path...I have taken this vehicle on rough roads, icy roads, and deep snow, the 4Run handles them all with ease. Drive this bad boy and you will see...

  • Finally.... - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

After driving American made SUVs for quite a number of years, I now know why the American manufacturers need to offer incentives to sell their vehicles. I had a 2003 Ford Explorer, with only 5000 miles on it. Sticker price was 31K, trade in value after less than a year of ownership, $17,500. The 4Runner has far more power, better gas mileage, better ride, far superior build and ride quality. I really could not be happier with the purchase.
