  • I finally bought the right vehicle - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I love my new 4Runner and so does my husband. We like the ability to carry three grown adults in the 2nd row and cargo in comfort. It has come in handy on several occassions and every thing works as promised. I highly recommend the 4Runner over any other truck-based SUV.

I bought my 04 4Runner in February 2007 with 24k miles. It had 275k now. Basic maintenance its all Ive done it has never giving me any problems. From Virginia to Miami Florida over 30 times with no problems sometimes pulling two motorcycles in a 5x8 trailer. I love my 4Runner.

Great balance of performance, style and functionality. Reliability with the Toyota brand pushes this over the top.

Was always a chevy person. We will buy an 05 when they come out. Found out to be one of the more safer vehicles we have ever owned.Had the unfortunate luck of totaling out the vehicle in extremely bad weather.Vehicle was the reason no one was killed.Insurance company paid every bit of it off.

  • Exceeded my expectations - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I bought my 4Runner 2500 miles ago and have been very pleased. The vehicle is very solid, quiet, and comfortable. The V6 has plenty of power and delivers it quite smoothly. A lot of people complain about gas milage, but for a two ton+ vehicle with good acceleration, I dont think 17-18mpg is bad. There are plenty of storage compartments and the interior seems intelligently laid out. The stock stereo sounds good, climate control works well and the vehicle is very impressive overall.

  • Bigger and better mileage - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I traded up from 97 4 runner, and this Bigger 04 has extra seating, wider interior, larger engine, and the mileage is better than the smaller V-6 from 1997! I average 20 city, and 22- 24 on road! Great large size 4 runner, but I miss the sport car fell of the smaller body! I find the heat and air are not evenly distributed, so that needs to be fixed by Toyota. Overall still a stylish SUV than grabs your attention, very quiet ride, nice power curve for towing.

  • Its About Time! - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

I have owned 4 Jeep Grand Cherokees and One Jeep Cherokee prior to purchasing this Toyota 4Runner over July 4th Weekend. All that I can say is WOW, What a difference. The build quality, ride, comfort, etc... is head and shoulders above the Jeeps. As much as I enjoyed my Jeeps, I got tired of the warped rotors every 12,000-15,000 miles. So far, So Great with the 4Runner. I expect to keep it for at least 100,000 miles, if not more.

  • Luxury Without the High Price - 2004 Toyota 4Runner

Nice, comfortable vehicle which handles well in any terrain. Quiet for a truck based SUV. I drive the Ford Expedition also and it is night and day as far as handling, power (yes, Toyotas V6 out does it)and just the overall quality. For example, when you shut the doors on a Ford, it sounds like a tin can. The Toyota sounds solid and sturdy. I recommend this vehicle to any family that needs 7 seats and wants to feel safe.
