  • Rode hard... - 2005 Scion XB

Currently, my xB is totally caked in dirt from this past weekend. The windshield has dings and a crack almost as wide as the glass itself, collected over 5 years. A couple of dash lights are fading. I put wider tires on the OEM spoke rims and am having trouble getting the front two balanced correctly. All that said, when its cleaned and shining, the Camo Green Box is beautiful and I really have no complaints at all. I have no problem without center armrest. My prev car, a Saab 9.3 didnt have one as they want you driving with both hands on the wheel as a safety feature. BTW, this bought-new xB replaced a run of two Saabs that I loved.

MY new XB is truly a joy. The room inside is cavernous compared to my former Explorer. The ride is smooth and quite, and truly has remarkable zip for a 4 cyl. The standard Pioneer stereo system puts you front row center of the concert. I would and have recommended the Scion XB to several people. When they tried it it sold itself (no hassles from salesmen--sticker price stands) they traded in and bought that day. Most options come standard, but there is a remarkable list of accessories that can truly customize this car to become uniquely your own. I love my leather upholstery, cruise control, extra tinting, and the list goes affordably on. Try it youll love it!

  • Miss Foxy is a class act! - 2005 Scion XB

I never wanted a new car. Had my Honda since 1980 (25 yrs),unfortunately, had a serious accident in 2005 and could no longer find parts for the old girl. Reluctantly, I brought Ms. Foxy home and its been a love affair ever since. Here we are 4 yrs later and I wouldnt trade her for the world. Definitely the last car I will ever own...I hope..

I bought this for a family vehicle and couldnt be any happier. We go everywhere and do everything in it. Im looking into gettin another one soon. The gas mileage is great and the space though small can accommodate a lot.

  • Im no Gen-Xr but I love this car! - 2005 Scion XB

Ive now had my xB for a couple of months, and man, I was not prepared for how much I enjoy it! Im a 46 y.o. guy who is ditching my job to go back to school, and I wanted lower car payments, so this was my cheapest but best choice...and I love it! It drives great, super gas economy, and with my aftermarket sunroof ($1200), it does everything I need it to do. My hats off to Toyota for packing so many features into such an inexpensive vehicle...

The Scion xB is fun to drive and has tons of room. It handles great as well. Everybody looks at it and wants to know more about the car.

  • Good for the price - 2005 Scion XB
    By -

The 2005 Scion xB is easy and fun to drive in traffic and very responsive. It is very easy to park in tight places. It does lack in power on the freeways and the gas mileage drops off at higher speeds, but I am still able to maintain 26 mpg or better at 75 mph. I get over 30 mpg at slower speeds. The ride is stiff and uncomfortable for long hauls. This car is very good in cities and short drives. The front bumper is only 5" off the ground so watch those curb blocks.
