  • Still Loving It - 2005 Scion XB

I bought my 05 xB in 05, and I have liked the square style, and the speedometer on the dashboard. I bought it because of that and the gas mileage. I get 300 miles to a tank, and there is lots of room inside. I wasnt happy when they changed the style of the xB. I put loads of miles on my car each year, and it has been very dependable. I hit someone who pulled out in front of me on a side street, and was surprised how little damage there was to my front bumper. The only thing I would change is the tire size.

I really enjoy my scion xB. There is a ton of room and it drives nicely. It could you a little more pickup, specifically, going up hills. I would definitely buy another.

  • Double the Pleasure - 2005 Scion XB

Just for fun I opened the back door of the limited edition yellow XB at the Denver car show and got in. Then just for fun I went to test drive one at my local Toyota dealership. You can only imagine the look on the sales guys face when I told him I wanted to trade in my fully loaded less then one year old Infinity FX35! I was so impressed with the XBs looks, handling, gas mileage and its "dress up" possibilities that I bought two of them that day. Yup, thats right two. We are a two XB family. I bought the black one for myself and the white for my son. When they are parked side by side in the drive, we are the most popular house on the block. Why should Gen. Y have all the fun by themselves?

I love my xB except its small engine. It should have a Corolla engine instead of the one from Echo. The front passenger door is difficult to close, which I will bring up to the dealer.

  • The smartest auto ever concieved - 2005 Scion XB

To buy an automobile today like this for what you are paying, is amazing. This vehicle is increditable for the price. I do not know how Toyota can make it happen. I love this car. It handles beautifully and is very light on the bill fold. Simply astonished at the engineering accomplishments. These toyota folks are smart.

  • Love my Scion - 2005 Scion XB

In my youth it was MGs and then any used car that would run me all over Los Angeles. In 2000, I retired, moved back to Tucson and drove 15 mile to the gallon Jeep Wranglers. I wanted a change and spotted the Scion xB. Where ever I go, young people ask about this car. They want to sit nside and say its their car of choice. I see Scions popping up all over the place and when I talk to other Scion owners, "Love my Scion," is the first thing they tell me. Its great gas mileage, good reliability, and solid design make this my favorite car of the many Ive owned over fifty years. My husband drives a Ford Explorer and lately, Im hearing him say, "Lets take the Scion."

  • Great Little Car - 2005 Scion XB

We bought the Scion xB after looking at every car at the Boston Auto Show. It replaced our 1988 Volvo 740 wagon. The xB is designed perfectly for a family of one to three people. The interior leg room is huge for a small car, as is the head room. These cars are built solid and are very cheap to buy and maintain. In 15,000 miles, we have only had one problem -- the headlights were aimed too high. That is a testiment to Toyota quality. We take our yellow xB Release Series 2 to Canada quite often where it is mobbed by people wanting to buy one (its not available yet in Canada). Overall, its like a Mini Cooper station wagon.

  • best car i ever owned - 2005 Scion XB

absolutey the best car i ever owned!! The gas mileage alone is a good reason to buy this car, but you also get a cute stylish sporty car to boot. Ive noticed alot of people turning their heads to check it out. The price tag cant be beat for a 2005 with all the room the you get. I didnt think when I looked at it from the outside that it would be very roomy, but once you get inside its great. I have two kids and their very comfortable.

This car is a little gem. It is very large on the inside and with the back seats folded down will hold very large items, such as a bookcase etc. The visibility is the best I believe of any car made today. In spite of its small engine it is very peppy and easily keeps up with the traffic. In short it is a wonderful car.

  • Love my Scion xB! - 2005 Scion XB

The Scion xB was a perfect car to follow my minivan, smaller but still with lots of space! It has versitility with its interior configurations, it has LOTS of ways to customize it, it can be spiffed up well. We have found it to be an incredible car in the snow and ice, it goes just about anywhere. It is tiny as all get- out outside and can park in small spots, yet it has an amazing amount of space inside, especially in the backseat and headroom. We get pretty good mileage, certainly better than most other cars, about 28 mpg - 36 mpg depending on the drive. Its pickup is understandably not like a V8, but it holds its own. It handles well, has a good braking system and is comfortable on long or short trips.
