The car is awesome. Wish I could say the same about the dealership...I am a former Saturn driver and the dealership could learn a lot from the Saturn dealers. Bu the car is awesome. If you are thinking about one, buy it!

  • Disappointed - 2005 Scion XB

Loved this car from the moment I saw it. Convinced my wife to get it for our small business as a delivery vehicle. The "toaster" sees a lot of miles, but gets regular service and is only driven by me. Rarely gets better than 29 miles per gallon. Had to replace all four rims and tires - $800 - because of cracks in the rims. Lost the transmission at 89,000 miles. Small back side light managed to vibrate loose and fall out - $175 to replace. Now AC compressor is going out. The Camry we used as a trade-in was much more reliable.

We are a family of four and all fit comfortably in our new Scion. We love it. It is cute, sporty, fun, and reliable. People stop us everywhere we go!!!

This is my 10th new automobile to purchase and I must say that it was the easiest to negotiate with the no haggle pricing policy. The important aspect of purchasing to to negotiate a "fair" price for any trade-in if one is involved.

  • My 2005 Scion xB in Blue Onyx Pearl - 2005 Scion XB
    By -

I just bought this car on July 21st, 2005 and all I can say a very incrediable car so far. I had a 2003 Dodge Durango SXT an awesome SUV in its own right. With the high fuel prices in California I had to go with another way. I chose the Scion xB because in 1989 I bought a 4x4 Toyota and loved it knowing Toyota makes an excellent product. The gas milage on this xB is unreal and the power is great for 110 horses. In the near future I plan to add I cold air intake and a cat back muffler system to help the performance also. I might possibly make this a show car as well. My ending remarks at being a 50 year old male you cant go wrong with this sporty car from Toyota / Scion.

The cup holders in my Scion xB are in a bad location. They are on the floor. The gas mileage has been good at around 30 mpg this past month. It also handles really well. I like how it can get into a tight parking place with ease. I am 6 ft. 7 in. tall and have no problem geting in to it. It has lots of head room and good leg room. You have more leg room in the back than in the front.

  • looooove my xB - 2005 Scion XB

Ive had my xB for about 3 months and I love it more each time I drive it. Thought it would be economical but was afraid to change from a Town Car to something I thought would be so different. Boy, I can not believe I look for reasons to drive now... love sitting up higher and it is so open and roomy inside. Cant say enough good things about it.

  • An Honest Vehicle - 2005 Scion XB

I didnt intend to buy an xB when I first happened to see one at a dealership - I was just curious. A few hours later, I owned one. The value per dollar spent on this vehicle is likely amongst the highest in the current market. The xB is well designed, has excellent ergonomics, and is a lot of fun to drive. It is a unique looking box with a very comfortable interior and loads of practical, usable space in a tiny exterior. In many ways it seems larger inside than outside.
