  • Great Little Car! - 2005 Scion XB

I bought my xB in Michigan for a Florida car! People said we were nuts to drive that little thing to Florida. I went the 1,350 miles, no problem at 75 / 80 mph, just like the big guys. It is a super car. It gets good mileage, is fun to drive, and easy to park.

First foreign car that I have owned. It has exceeded all expectations in every way. Get a lot of compliments and PLENTY of looks. My wife thought it was a little wierd at first, but now parks her Accura and drives mine. Great mileage, last trip on highway - 35.7 About - 30 around town. I live in the mountains and does well everywhere. Lots of RPMs. Tons of room inside. I call it my mini-mini van. Overall, great car - Great dealer @ Jim Barkley Toyota in Asheville, NC

Although the marketing brochure leads one to believe that an xB owner should be bopping to an MP3 player and have several body piercings, my 56 year-old mind really enjoys this car. It corners effortlessly and the 5-speed I chose puts a lot of fun back in driving. Inside it is spacious and roomy, and since I drive on the inside, thats what counts to me. I watch frequently as people surround the car when parked, misprounouncing the name as SKY-ON and smiling. And all this at the low price makes me smile too. Hint - consider every option as you build your xB. The sport pedals and satellite radio add a lot to my pleasure in owning one.

  • The Box is Well Worth the Price - 2005 Scion XB

With the price tag at $18,006 with all the bells the xB is well worth the price. It is fun to drive and gets great gas milage. After 1.5 years of ownership it still turns heads. The fit and finish are well done. A cross country trip was done in comfort with about 36 mpg over all with almost 40 on the highway at 60 to 65 mph. This vehicle has true Toyota quality.

  • The Most for Your Money.... - 2005 Scion XB

The 2005 Scion xB is a lot of car for the money. It has great saftey features, good gas milage, and good service. The only thing that I would change is it needs arm rests.

i love it (and so does my mother who a month after i bought mine went and got a red one with an auto,) but i wish that it was geared a little differently or had a six speed. highway crusing with a 4000-5000 rpm whine frome the engine at 80 gets a little annoying when traveling long distances, plus the lack of arm rests on the front seats takes a while to get used to and need to be installed from the factory although it would take away from the side bolster which is very supportive to a big guy like me.

I bought a Black Sand Pearl Scion XB back in 2004. It is so much fun to drive and because of the uniqueness of it compared to other vehicles on the road a lot of attention is drawn to it. Many people have complimented me on it and asked me how I like it. There is a tremendous amount of leg room in the front, and even more leg room in the back seats. The Pioneer CD/AM/FM radio which is standard sounds great. The gas mileage is also very good. I put alot of miles on per week, and just love driving my Scion XB.
