Overview & Reviews
Borrowing components from GM's European Opel division, the Saturn Vue is completely redesigned for 2008. Highlights include a much-improved cabin, an available 257-horsepower V6 and improved handling and ride dynamics.
- Powerful V6 in XR and Red Line trims, handsome interior and exterior European styling, ideal handling and ride balance, plenty of standard safety features.
- Less cargo capacity than most rivals, front seats not ideal for some larger folks.

THIS CAR IS OK - 2008 Saturn VUE
By WENDY - February 16 - 4:43 amI traded in my saturn ion for this vue for myspace due to adoping a child, but feel that i less space than i did. It is very sluggish going up hills and i agree that for the weight of the vehicle i am not sure making a 4 cyl was a good idea.

Better than all the rest in its class! - 2008 Saturn VUE
By QueenBNYNJ - January 30 - 4:26 amAfter researching small suvs such as the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4, and Ford Escape I finally decided on the 2008 Vue. The Vue offers much more for your money. Saturn did a great job on redesigning this model. Looks and drives like a luxury car. More bells and whistles. Saturn customer service is amazing. My experience was stress free. I would have never thought of Saturn before. No one can believe it is a Saturn. Check it out...great buy!

Vue XR Love it. - 2008 Saturn VUE
By Jim - January 7 - 5:43 amSearched hard for something in this size category. After renting one for a week, I knew this was it. It is quiet! The car is tight and easy to drive, not floaty. The steering remains on center except for full throttle take offs. I find the seats comfortable even though the seat bottom is a little short. Great attention was paid to details, for instance the glove box is lined with a felt like material to keep things from sliding on plastic and be quieter. The gas door is sealed with a gasket. Wind noise is very low. The headlights even come on when the wipers come on.

08 VUE RL FWD - 2008 Saturn VUE
By vandy0419 - December 29 - 8:26 amThis car is amazing...forget what the magazines say! I even saw a magazine bashing it because the middle seat in the second row didnt have a headrest. The car is very roomy and quality interior. The exterior looks amazing and always gets heads turning due to the RL styling. Seats are so comfortable and great quality throughout. Wish the gas mileage was better, but it is good for what it is. I wish they would have put a different engine in the RL though. The new 3.6 with DI and different pistons would be top choice. This engine is an option on the Cadillac CTS with 304hp. The 6 speed transmission is purely amazing. The engine is very responsive and doesnt hesitate to hit the rev limiter.

A good choice - 2008 Saturn VUE
By eman - December 28 - 4:33 amIve only had my Vue for a few days so I cant write much. What i can say is that after owning a Honda, its refreshing to deal with people who actualy value your business. I researched almost every car in its class and decided on it because it comes with so many more standard convenience and safety features that anything else in its price range. Im a big guy and dont have a lot of luck finding cars to fit. The Vue could use a tad more leg room but overall its very comfortable for me and real nice to drive.

08 Saturn Vue Red Line 3.6 FWD - 2008 Saturn VUE
By Paul - December 8 - 1:16 pmIve been researching replacement vehilces for my 01 Ford Escape for ~1- year, on-off. When the Saturn Vue came out a few months back I took a first test-drive in an XE 3.5 AWD. It felt good and was adquately powered, but wanted to test-drive the XR, but didnt get a chance to. Waited until the Red Lines started showing-up and decided this was the one for me. Put down a little more to reduce the monthly- payment. Mines Polar White, with the Ebony interior. Looks good, feels good to sit-in, and best of all its a hoot to drive so far. The 6-speed transmission is silky-smooth, with a quiet V6 engine, and just enough rumble coming from the chromed tail-pipe tips, sounds great too.

So Far, So Good - 2008 Saturn VUE
By Steve K. - November 26 - 3:00 amOverall, my experience with my new Vue is very positive. Although, I very seldom make a major purchase on impulse, this car was an exception. As soon as I saw it on the lot, I knew I had to have it. Over the last year or two, whenever a saw one of GMs foreign competitors crossover vehicles, I would think if GM (Im a GM retiree) would make something like that I would buy it.

Bummer - 2008 Saturn VUE
By JR - September 18 - 8:36 amWeve had many Saturns in our family, including another VUE, so we were disappointed when our 2008 started to show its cheapness. The lumbar control, visor, mirror have all fallen off. The seal for the windshield keeps coming out. If this is whats happening now at 19,000 miles, I;m nervous what will happen soon. We are looking for else. Its been a big bummer after having so many good Saturns.
