This Year's Model Updates:

Revised interior and exterior trim details freshen up the interior of Saturn's SUV. Four-cylinder models get new machined alloy wheels in place of last year's painted alloys, along with new seat fabric, and a four-speed automatic transmission in place of the former CVT unit. All-wheel drive is no longer available on four-cylinder Vues.

Pros:
  • Strong V6, spacious cabin, comfortable ride, excellent crash test scores, good fuel economy.
Cons:
  • Too many low-grade and ill-fitting interior materials, undersized front seats, vague steering.

I have had my VUE for almost 2 years now and its the best vehicle I have ever had. Other than one little battery problem that my local dealership had trouble figuring out, no problems otherwise.

It handles really well especially on the interstate road, and also I am not really accustomed to drive electric power steering system and it is awesome that how sensitive she handles on the road. Gas mileage is really superb - 25 miles on highway and 19 miles in city. I have arthritis am overweight its easy for me to get in and out of the Vue.

Weve had three previous Saturns and now we have the one my wife has wanted since they came out. We bought the manual because we wanted it and we are enjoying it so far. Very peppy and good looking, IMO.

When we bought our Vue we were excited for the Saturn vehicle. Wed never had problems with our other two and we are not disappointed now. Neat vehicle. We like sitting "up" a little above traffic and the SUV roominess in the back. Could be better with gas mileage. The sticker is a little misleading 29hwy/23city. We get around 25 & 21. This is a lot better than our old Suburban, though.

I had an excellent sales expirience with Saturn, with no pressure. They were understanding of what I wanted and did their best to deliver. The VUE has surprised me in many ways. Coming from Saturn, I expected less power, and the steering is excellent. The intirior is a little bland and some plastics are cheap, but overall a good buy.

You can actually see out of this SUV - hence the name Vue. Flat floors and grocery hooks and folk down rear seats, extra plug ins - my friends and I are in heaven on trips.

I was a bit sceptical about buying it, but when I drove it it was pretty good. I think it is a great little SUV for the price.

  • I Love My New Saturn Vue! - 2005 Saturn VUE

Driving has become so much more comfortable and more pleasant, since I bought my Saturn Vue. I easily get in and out of the car, due to its height being neither too low nor too high. My senior citizen and handicapped mom can also get in and out of the car, without my having to lower her in or haul her out. I can see the road, no longer feeling as if I were driving in a hole, surrounded by taller vehicles. The seat supports my back comfortably, allowing me to drive without the old pains. The car handles well, offers comfort to my passengers in the back seats, affords plenty of "trunk" space, and offers a terrific sound system. The whole family loves this car!

I have had my Saturn for right at 4 months and so far, have had no problems. I like the exterior design and although I agree with the interior ratings of others and Edmunds, thats not as much a factor for me as comfort and reliability. Ive never owned a Saturn and am a previous Nissan car owner. This is my first SUV, but Ive ridden in several and I feel that my VUE is a match for the others. I like the gas mileage as its not much different from my car. I also like the roomy interior and the coziness of it. Of particular satisfaction for me is the reclinable rear seats, the grocery rack in the back and the window controls.

Having driven Saturns almost since they were introduced, Ive always rated them high. During that time another car I found a pleasure to drive was the powerful Honda Pilot. What a thrill it was to find that same 3.5 ltr v6 in the ever reliable Saturn brand. It makes getting on a highway much easier and is the most powerful engine Saturn has ever used. Not only that, but theres enough insulation in the interior cabin to bring the noise notorious in Saturns to an all-time low. Its cabin is quite large for a smaller size SUV and has upgraded its interior materials. The rear cargo organizer + Mp3 cd radio with RDS capabilties are welcome additions. Driving is more enjoyable than ever.
