This Year's Model Updates:

Saturn has upgraded the Ion with new fabrics, improved plastics and a new radio with MP3 and satellite radio capability. The electric steering has been revised for improved feel at highway speeds, while the sedan's five-speed automatic and the coupe's CVT have been recalibrated for improved gear selection and response. Finally, Saturn has installed additional sound-deadening material to reduce cabin noise. A Special Edition version of the sedan provides black exterior paint, distinctive 16-inch wheels and a two-tone interior.

  • I love my Ion! - 2004 Saturn ION

I am thrilled with my Saturn Ion Coupe. It is comfortable and reliable, and I love the staff at Saturn. They take care of me and my car. If I had a million dollars, I would still buy an Ion all over again.

So far this car has really impressed me. Its sporty and cute, great added on features such as 6 disc cd changer, spoiler, and sunroof. Black detailing on the otherwise tan leather seats is different and cool. I thought it would be difficult to transition from my much beloved Honda Accord, but it has matched up on all features except visibility isnt as good (but it really is hard to beat an accord on that) and the backseat leg room is non existant when the front seats are fully back. But thats alright by me, I never have to sit back there and the drivers seat is very comfy!

I drive my Ion 3 86 miles round trip to work and back 5 days per week. With a sunroof and 140 horses under the hood it is an awesome drive everyday. A 5 speed auto that performs like a 5 speed manual. The ride and handling work together for optimal comfort and control. Braking is also up to par as well.

I own the Saturn Ion Coupe who says a mom cant have a sports car. I love my Saturn. Have not had any problems with it. The small steering wheel really allows very good handling and the side suicide doors make it such easy access for my little ones. I love the fact that they can not open the doors from inside. I drive down the street and people stop and stare. For the amount of money paid for the car I feel like I am driving a mercedes for the comments and stares I get while out about town. Can not say enough good things about the car and dealership. Great bunch of people at Saturn. Totally loving my new car.

This car has alot of pep. It handles surprisingly well on wet roads, and so far has gone great on a small amount of snow. I drive this car about five hours a day on my courier job, and have experienced only a little fatigue from the so-called "flat" seats. The buying experience at the dealer was refreshing. I can honestly say that I not only love driving my Saturn, but also love to look at it. It looks very modern and fresh, especially in the silver nickel color. For a cheap, economical car, I think its a great deal.

We looked around at a number of dealerships before going to Saturn. From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed with the Ion. For the price, we found the Ion to be more stylish than the Ford Focus, Kia or Mazda vehicles we looked at.

  • 4 x Saturn Buyer - 2004 Saturn ION

I love owning a Saturn and this is my 4th. I went from leasing a 2001 L200 to buying a fully loaded 2004 ION3 (leather, sunroof, 6-CD changer, alloy wheels, etc). Got a great deal with NO HAGGLE and no game playing. The ride is great, fast and tight. Driving 60mph feels like 30mph (its so fast it can get away from you). Great mileage- 32/27. Its a keeper. :o)

The new ion is not only has a cute exterior, but the interior design is very driver friendly. The car performs well and "feels" safe when you are driving. After driving Fords for the past 10 years, this is a very nice change.
