  • Great car - 2003 Saturn ION

Great first new car. I went to a couple of dealers (dodge) and hated the experience, when I went to the Saturn dealer it was so easy and the car was perfect. I got 0% financing, $1000 off, an addition $750 off for being a college grad, a free dell computer, and no headaches. Icouldnt ask for more.

At the time I got this car - the "college grad" deal made it the most affordable car around. Now all I want to do is get rid of it. It is not a sporty car. It is an economy coupe, and that is it.

  • It Doesnt Look like a saturn... - 2003 Saturn ION

I bought the Ion3 at the beginning of december after a bad car accident with a previous saturn...this ion doesnt even look like a saturn to me, or anyone who has seen it. Its fast..built with an acura engine (ecotech).... The interior is the coolest...and ive been told the exterior looks like a cadillac, jetta, and so many more. i love the thing

  • ION 3 IS OK! - 2003 Saturn ION

I OWN A SATURN ION 3 NICE CAR, WHEN RATING ONE HAS TO REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A 4 BANGER NOT A PERFORMANCE CAR. BEING WHAT IT IS IT IS GREAT. THE CAR IS A LOT OF FUN AND IT IS NICE TO LOOK AT. EDITORS SHOULD RATE IT FOR WHAT IT IS AND NOT WHAT THEY THINK IT SHOULD BE.

  • awful first experience - 2003 Saturn ION

when we bought the vehicle, it had to go back into the shop for: 4 new windows (due to the glass was scratched by the window tracks), defects in paint, interior dash was rattling, brakes were wobbleing (due to the rotors and brakes were out of surface tolerence), steering was shaky when driving at high speed. These problems were due because of the factory.

  • When I Look At My Car I Am Happy - 2003 Saturn ION
    By -

For the price and features included with this car, I am very happy. The car is attractive inside & out. I liked the novelty of the centered dashboard, and it did not take long to adjust to. The ride and comfort of the car is satisfactory plus--considering that I did not pay a Cadillac price. Overall performance is good. The Ion 3 included all the features I wanted without going outside my price range. Driving the car this winter, the lower left heating vent did not seem to heat as fast as the rest of the vents in the car. Maybe its just me or something I need to check.

  • Definitely a Fan - 2003 Saturn ION

I was worried than an economy car wouldnt be quick. I was certainly wrong. Several times during the last week, for instance, I ACCIDENTLY chirped the tires coming off of traffic lights. Thats fantastic considering I drive the automatic. I can burn just about any Civic out there, and I still get amazing gas milage.

  • Much better car than they rated it as.. - 2003 Saturn ION

Not sure what edmunds was thinking when the reviewed this car but i disagree with 90% of what they say. This car is very inovated, extremely powerfull for its size, and just an extreme pleasure to drive. Handles and drives far better that what you pay for this auto. I rate it a 9.5 out of 10!!

I just bought this car and I love it. Its fun to drive and looks great. Its a smooth ride and handles the road well. The dealership made the car buying experience easy. I will definitely buy another Saturn.
