Overview & Reviews
Traction control is added as an option on Formula and Trans Am. Trans Am GT is dropped from lineup. Californians get a 3.8-liter V6 equipped with an automatic transmission on base models instead of the 3.4-liter V6. The new engine meets strict emissions standards in that state, and makes 40 additional horsepower.

It has been a dependable car - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By Suzy67 - March 27 - 10:00 amI bought this car used in 97 and wasnt sure how good it would be in the long run but was pleasantly surprised. I have had to have the fuel pump replaced, the alernator belt replaced a couple of times, and the egr valve replaced. That is it for major work. I read a couple of reviews that dogged this car and had to respond!! It has done me well! It has been an overall great car for me an has held on to is resale value well. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Red T-Top - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By Ryan C - March 13 - 10:00 amI love this car. It has excellent performance and is very comfortable to ride in the front seats. The back is a little cramped but not too bad. I havent had any mechanical problems except the fuel pump went out at about 80,000 miles.

Best bang for the buck - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By TantricRogue - February 18 - 2:00 amI love this car! I live in southern California and love to cruise the Pacific Coast Highway with my convertible down!I have pulled up to a stoplight and have girls I dont even know jump into my car. This car has never needed more than typical maintenance. Its an Urban Rollercoaster. There is nothing better than to pull up to some raced out Honda, put down my top, blast "Born in The U.S.A." by Bruce Springstien, rev my engine and blow the other son of a b!@ch away... EVERY time.

my review - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By popsawood - November 1 - 2:00 amI believe this is a good car but a lot slower than i expected. Even though it is a standard model with a manual transmission 5-speed, i did not notice it to be any faster than my previous car which was a 1989 pontiac 6000-LE.

Firebirds rock! - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By speed demon - July 9 - 7:33 pmI had purchased this car from a friend who had it for a year before me. I have had only a few problems with this car. It has 162,000 miles and I have had to replace the optispark distributer and the powersteering pump, because the aluminum bracket that holds it got stripped. And the power door locks went out completely and the drivers side power window also went out. Other than that it has been great. I have owned it for more then two years and when I got the car it only had 112,000 miles. Other then the small squeaks that the body makes, the car is a blast to drive just watch out for cops. Very easy to be pulled over.

My 2 Cents - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By chris~~ - November 13 - 2:00 amBought this car used in 97, still have it without any problems, just minor things. Only change oil, tires, 1 tune up and minor work on transmission, small leak. Gets good gas mileage and descently quick when you hit the gas and it sounds good, throaty when RPMs are up. It gets peoples attention especially girls when driving around with T-Tops off.

Trans Am - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By tafrenzy - September 16 - 6:46 amThis car is amazing, my Dad bought it in 1995 and after 12years in the house its been mine for 3 years. Its seating position is low and tiring for long rides but a car like this is meant for racing and the seats with regards to that are perfect. I got 305hp stock motor. It isnt driven in winter. It just wont go straight. Too powerful with low end torque. It still has 47670km on it. Its still brand new, black on black. Its a beautiful summer car. I wouldnt sell in another 50years. Nothing is wrong with it. So far the only thing we changed since we had it are the tires and oils. Other than that the original smell is in it. Beautiful car to have.
