Overview & Reviews
Traction control is added as an option on Formula and Trans Am. Trans Am GT is dropped from lineup. Californians get a 3.8-liter V6 equipped with an automatic transmission on base models instead of the 3.4-liter V6. The new engine meets strict emissions standards in that state, and makes 40 additional horsepower.

Love it. - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By Jon Bradley - April 29 - 10:53 amIve had this car for almost a month now and I must say I absolutely love it. I bought it for $3500 with 164,000 miles. The previous owner (and only owner) loved this car very much! There isnt a scratch on it and the interior is better than most used vehicles I was looking at from the 2000s. I am 17 and this is my very first car, and I must say that this right now is my single most important material posession. The only thing I have had to fix on this vehicle was a bad brake light. The rest is basically like new.

I love trans ams! - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By Curt - February 23 - 7:30 amThis is an excellent car to drive. I would recommend only to single people or couples, not families. Also, not a great car to lug around your friends. Despite the lack of space this car is definitely worth buying if you love speed. There are areas to improve, but for the cost I really cant give you a good reason not to buy one.

A Thank You to GMC - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By john v. diaz - September 3 - 10:00 amWith just under 100k miles and 7 years of service, the only major repair to this vehicle has been a front wheel speed sensor with a cost of approximately $500 cost. Normal repairs has been, tires, battery, and serpentine belt. Its a shame that more buyers werent drawn to purchase this fine vehicle, since 2002 is its last year due to poor sales. But recommend that any people interested in a sports vehicle of this type check out any replacement that GM may offer in the near future.

Ive waited for one of these for a long - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By Ted - July 2 - 7:50 amI chose this car purely from lust. It helped that it was a bargain and in good shape. The styling of this car is first-rate, inside and out. Mine came with Camaro SS rims and 11" wide Goodyear F1 radials. It handles like a slot car. Fuel despite this, fuel economy is stil about 26 highway. The 3.4 litre engine may not be a LS1 but it moves the car nicely. The roof is dependable and leak-free. The engine is also, for that matter. Dash arrangement is excellent and includes all gauges. The adjustable lumbar is great, and leather int. is durable. Fit n Finish is good for Pontiacs, as well as quality of materials. cabin noise, etc is typical for a convertible sportscar.

Fun car for short time - 1995 Pontiac Firebird
By AkosPrime - July 17 - 2:00 amThis car was excellent for about 100K miles. I only had a few problems with it during that time: power window motors died twice & the elec system easily. All in all it was still a great ride. After 110K miles the car developed a problem that I have spent many hours and dollars trying to get fixed. Now it needs to be warmed up for 5 minutes before it can be driven anywhere no matter what the temperature outside or else the engine dies when the clutch is depressed. The car looks beautiful, its great for driving in nice weather, and fun! The quality does not lead me to believe that it is a car for the long haul.
