98 Aurora - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Bob0001 - December 15 - 2:00 amExcellent highway car. Great manueverability. Quick responding powertrain. Wide stance assures excellent control. Smooth ride and yet good feel of the road. Best handling car I have ever driven.

Love the A-ROAR-A - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Wingnut396 - November 28 - 10:00 amBought this car off of EBay after research many 4 door sedans. My wife said I had to get a 4 door, so I decided to get a fun one, and this car has been great. While not quite a BMW, it certainly is price MUCH less than other sports sedans. Too bad GM did have the good marketing to keep Olds around. On the highway I have not had a better car and it is effortless to drive while stuck in traffic.

Confort and fun - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Alfadan - October 10 - 2:00 amBest car I have ever had. Built like a tank, expect to put another 100K on it. Air conditioning compressor (built by third party) went out at 80K, rear suspension sensor out at 90K - small potatoes given the hi tech build of the car. Not a single rattle in the car after 105K. The car will always look marvelous.

Americas Only True Sport Sedan - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By kgr - December 21 - 2:00 amI read about this cars development and wanted one for years, so this year I bought one used and absolutely love it. Great styling turns heads and brings compliments. Roomy and very comfortable. Lots of intelligent touches, but the engine is the real jewel. Never had such a free revving and powerful engine before (based on the Cadillac Northstar. Great chassis, very solid, drives like a much more expensive European sport sedan, without the high foreign parts costs for repair. Service is available at the local Chevy or Olds dealership at reasonable rates. Insurance is reasonable too.

Not your grandmas Oldsmobile - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By VLN - May 2 - 2:00 amWe just picked it up used with 36,000 miles on it. All the creature comforts of a Caddy or Lincoln but doesnt look like a "grandma" car. Powerful, smooth riding and handles like a sports car. Oldsmobile screwed up when they changed the body style in 2001.

great car - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By frank jones - June 14 - 12:03 amThis car has been a pleasure to drive and i highly recommend it. The engineering is great. The engine seized up at 101,000 miles on it so we brought to a guy and he put a surplus motor in it with 60,000 miles on it and now the car runs strong as an ox. The repair cost was 4,000 but the guy guarantees the motor for another 100k miles and we have no doubt it will last longer.
