I turned in my 07 Altima 2.5 SL Lease for a brand new 10 Rogue SL and am extremely happy. Has the same transmission as my Altima and I love the CVT. I dont think its loud at all and is more fuel efficient. Im a mom of two small children and commute 80 miles round trip everyday to/from work. The Rogue fits the bill as far as more comfort for the family and easier access for storage in the hatchback area. Plus, now I have a place to do a quick diaper change. Much easier to lug the double stroller around, but still fuel efficient for my long commute. I dont find the window in the back to be too small to view my blind spot like others have mentioned.

Bought our Rogue in Aug. 2010. Liked the styling and handling. Got indicated 34 mpg on the way back from Chicago to Madison at 58 mph. Dropped to 31 at 65 mph. Cold weather drops mileage considerably. In mostly suburban driving in winter we average 23 mpg, freeway driving 28. The AWD/ABS/Traction control is fantastic in the snow. Its wonderful to be able to accelerate without spinning wheels and hoping theyll grab before the wolf pack descends on you. We installed U-haul hitch, grille chrome, lower side chrome accent strips, and roof rack which approximates the 2011 look. Also installed a compass/Homelink/garage door opener/self-dimming rear view mirror from Ebay which is great.

  • Love it! - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Have had the Rogue for about a month now and LOVE it. We loaded up with all of the available packages - leather/heated seats, premium package w/ bluetooth, upgraded stereo, I-key and moonroof. It is so comfortable to drive and ride in, with plenty of room inside and decent cargo space, but still small enough to navigate heavy city traffic and park in crowded garages and small spaces. Ive read the complaints about engine drone from the CVT, but I dont find it to be an issue at all. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the ride is, especially compared to some similar competitor models that I test drove. A lot of luxury and functionality for under $30K!

  • Wonderful for winter driving! - 2010 Nissan Rogue

I just drove it off the lot 24 hours ago, into the snow! I traded in my Mazda 5 because I was having serious traction issues with the Mazda in icy or snowy conditions. We have had a Nissan Murano for 5 years, and went with the Rogue since we are so happy with the Murano. The Rogue definitely drives as comfortably as the Murano, it feels very similar. I dont feel bumps in the road at all, and the traction with the AWD engaged is exceptional. I am not looking for power or speed, I drive short distances to pick up kids and get to work. The seats are very comfortable, I have to say it feels very luxurious for the price.

  • So far so good! - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Weve had our new Rogue for 1 week, and already were in love. We were deciding between a crossover SUV (including the Honda CR-V) and a mid-size sedan (including the Altima). By far, the Rogue had the smoothest, most quiet ride and the most comfortable seats compared to any of the others we test drove. In the end, it came down to the Rogue and the Ford Fusion (great car by the way), but the Rogue has a higher fun factor. Ive always hated driving for long periods of time, but Im actually looking forward to a road trip this summer driving our new Rogue.

I actually owned 2 Rogues, and was happy with both. The only reason I got rid of the 1st one (08) was to trade for a new one (2010). I love the SUV feel combined with the great fuel economy of a midsized sedan. I always averaged 27+ MPG, and even got 30MPG on at least one occasion. The seats are comfortable and the interior is fairly roomy for it to be a small SUV/crossover. I had the 2010 for right at a year and put 15k miles on it, including a road trip from GA to OH and back, and never experienced any issues in the time I owned it. I traded it for a 2010 Altima because the Altima is my ultimate dream car :) but I was very pleased with my Rogues & recommend them to anyone!
