Great Small Family CrossOver SUV - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By lovingmyrogue - July 9 - 10:44 pmGreat car! Looks good and feels good. I did extensive research before purchasing this car. The Rav4 and the CRV was also on the top of my list. But having driven them all, my wife and I feel that the build quality of the Rogue was much better than the others. The interior of the CR-V and the Rav4 feel very plastic like. The other major motivation was the warranties.

nice crossover if you do not need real SUV - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By stevko - June 26 - 9:51 pmI bought this car in Aug11 used from Hertz car rental 15.500$ an 2010 S AWD model with 38000mile on. After 6mon in use I decided to write this review as I used this page to choose the Rouge. I was looking for SUV but did not wanted pay the higher price and more on gas, therefore I was looking at sportage, tuscon, forester and rouge. I choose Nissan as I drove nissan sentra before and rogue is basically lifted sentra kind of w/ AWD and SUV look, car like driving and SUV feel and safety. We live in NortWest so this kind of car is ideal. I doesnot need fancy ride and towing capabilities so city like SUV = Rogue was an good choice. And the price was 1.500 - 2000 lesser than those others.

Family Car - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By Nick - February 1 - 3:16 pmMy wife needed a larger vehicle than the VW Beetle she was driving after having our baby. I looked at Gm and Ford, but I felt a cold shoulder from them. Like it was my duty to buy American. No sir...you dont pay my bills. We passed a Roque on the highway and my wife loved it. After looking we decided this was the right car for us. We stepped up from the S to a 360 package. These extra features set it apart from the base model. As a guy who builds bikes on time off I need style and this little crossover isnt lacking it. Im actually a little mad that I cant drive it every day.

Just 2 weeks old now - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By GF - December 5 - 11:46 amThis is our 2nd (yes 2nd) 2010 Rouge! Bought my wife hers Dec 09 and got mine 2 weeks ago. I drive 35 miles to work (one way) and am currently getting 25.3 mpg - Love the AWD grip and coming from an 06 Altima I can really notice the difference in road noise (being less in the Rogue) even with the stock tires. The Rogue is solid / firm and gives the feeling that you are in control. Tons of power - if you want a 6 cyl, i say buy the Murano. With the known Nissan reliability, I am confident of worry free driving in a great car for years.

Pseudo-car Crossover SUV - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By VegasBoy - December 5 - 8:13 amI drove a Nissan 350z 2006, Altima Coupe 2008 and 2009 Mercedes C300 Sports, before i bought this car because i am going to have a baby. Compare Rogue to this car this is what i get out of it. Rogue as Advertised really handles better than the c300, equal of altima and lower than 350z. braking and acceleration is the same as an altima.Road comfort rogue is below c300 but above the altima and 350z. Rogue is a Nissan with it comes their trademark quick acceleration and darn good braking. The interior is ok unless you are expecting luxury then better have Murano. Fuel Economy-rogue is better than the three around 24 mpg city, havent tested in highways. Rogue is a good fit for a starting family

Great AWD crossover for the price - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By Beth - November 18 - 3:53 amI went from an 2007 Altima to the 2010 Rogue 360. I love the AWD and sitting higher up to see over snow banks in the winter. It handles very well in the snow (better than the Altima) I do miss my Altima, just really loved that car. The Rogue is on a Sentra base and Murano has the Altima base on it. Overall, I am very happy with the space, the pick up, reliability and design.

Follow-up - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By Jimbo - October 29 - 10:00 amHate the r-view mirror, had better mirrors years ago with normal views & could adjust if lights behind you were a problem. Mirror gets too dark with the auto-dim thing which does not work, have had 2 of these mirrors (got 2nd with camera system) both same problem, light & button useless because light goes on & mirror reverts back to the dark auto-dim view every 5 mins after you turn it off, no matter if its day or night or anyone is behind you or not, wish I could disable the auto-dim function, regular view is dark enough. R elbow rest on center console should be way more forward-- even with my long arms (I am tall) my right elbow just barely catches the very end of it.

long term with third rogue - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By twowhldoug - October 4 - 8:44 pmWe now have over 32000 miles on our third rogue.First two were problems.This one has been good till now.Fuel gauge stopped working,had to have sending unit.keyless is starting to not work in morning.I guess we are done with Nissans.Cant imagine dealing with these kinds of problems as warranty expires(36,000miles). It is ashamed because this would really be a nice vehicle if not for the problems.Nissan has got to get on the ball.Have you noticed how the Rogue never is included in tests in magazines? I have.We have averaged 27MPG WE dont know what to get next.Maybe if nissan had a longer warranty or an extended warranty but as things are now,by by Nissan.

We Love It! - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By Mdawgy - September 11 - 5:10 pmMy girlfriend and I recently purchased a 360* edition of the rogue, and couldnt be happier. I find the drive test review to be dead on, the rogue is designed for the average driver, it is not a high performance machine. For the everyday driver, you get a quiet, well-behaved car that handles well, seamlessly accelerates, and looks and feels really good to drive. Vision out the back could be better, but the back- up camera helps alot. Simply put, we Love this vehicle. It is, in our minds, the best value for the money.

Bad CVT Transmission - 2010 Nissan Rogue
By neddnee - August 26 - 11:14 pmUnfortunately, my 2010 Rogue has begun to give me problems when driving up hill. I lose power and the car does not accelerate even when I have my pedal to the floor. The local Nissan dealership had my car all day and their conclusion for my problem was that the cars safety mechanism turns on so the transmission wont overheat. Well I guess thats fine except for when Im driving in 75-80 mph traffic and my car suddenly loses power. Thats not really safe. I really hope that this problem is resolved and these cars are recalled.
