  • Fun vehicle - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Fun to drive. Averaging only 17.5 mpg. Very disappointing as I havent been racing engine. Ive been purposely slow-starting. But I have the a/c running non-stop and only local driving. Unhappy with drivers seat only adjusting 6 Rather than 8 positions. Im 511" & 275. Stocky. I drive with seat all the way back and wish the base of seat reclined even just a little bit, but it cant. Little drivers legroom as my knee bangs into door handle or steering wheel. Interior & exterior design is great. Love black leather trim. A/c works great. Vents are even cool design. Not a ton of legroom in back seat. Bose is great. Storage is good. Gear shifting nonexistent! Like headlights & keyless!

  • Best of its class, and good value - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Did extensive shopping after deciding to replace our 2000 Subaru Outback. Subaru has taken a step backward with the 2010 redesign. The Rogue is a nicer vehicle than CR-V, Tucson, Equinox, CX-7, and better value. Great handling and ride. Good passenger room front and back. Good front and side view - limited rear view, as others have pointed out. Rear seats are a bit "benchy", but lots of room. And yes, the fuel door should be inside release. But if you rarely haul bigger cargo and want a comfortable, nice riding, stylish, AWD, well-built crossover at a decent price, get a 2010 while you can. We have the "premium" package and the Bose sound system is awesome.

  • Solid Crossover SUV - 2010 Nissan Rogue

This is a solid crossover. Its not super fancy or a high-performance car, but its not intended to be either. The ride is smooth and the SL premium features are convenient. I like the bright headlights and fig lights. This is a good vehicle for someone that wants AWD and an SUV feel while still getting decent fuel mileage and car- like handling.

final follow up on 2010 rogue, has 58,000 miles.Traded it on a pilot yesterday.Didnt buy a pathfinder due to premium fuel req.Unlike the 2009 we had the 2010 has been very nice to own.Only issue had for the length of ownership was the fuel gauge, not very accurate(was replaced once). The rogue has been a fine car,and has been fun to drive.Anytime punched up fuel mileage was 27pluss.the bose audio and blue tooth was a high point.Replaced tires at 44,000 and just maintenance.Dealer(Hunt Nissan)was the best.Feel bad about loosing them to the Honda guys, but we had to have a bigger car that used reg fuel.Ican say that a Rogue is a good choice to have.

  • Where is the quality? - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Bought the car last December. About 8800 kilometers (in Canada). Today I found the "Service Regine Soon" light is on. Havent taken it to the dealership yet. But come on, this is brand new car, where is the quality and reliability? I bought a new car because I dont want to have trouble of going to garages.

  • 3rd Time is the Charm - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

This is the 3rd rogue we have bought. The 2008 was ok but the awd was noisy. The2009 was just horrible, electrical and intell key problems, Nissan couldnt repair it. We tried to get them to replace it but that was a no. The dealer stepped up and helped us get into a 2010 at no cost to us. We have had no trouble with th 2010. It has been a pleasure to own and drive. Have aver 2200 mile in the last 3 weeks and it has gotten 27.6 mpg. If the 2008 we bought first was this good we would still have it. While we were fighting with Nissan about the lemon 2009 we could not decide on another make vehicle that we would Rather have. The rogue is a good a all around SUV with ample power and economy. We like it.

  • Starting to get concerned.... - 2010 Nissan Rogue

My husband and I were looking for an Suv/crossover that got good mpg and was functional for work or family. We love the look of the Rogue and have an 08 Altima that has been great. We bought this in Feb 2010 and noticed alot of road noise as the weeks went on...especially in the rain. I am 510" and my husband is 62 so the rear view mirror has become a real issue because of the blind spot it creates. My biggest concern has been the vibration and hesitation when accelerating from a stop or onto the freeway. I had it looked at and was told it is the CVT and is a "normal" function. Then, a few days ago, I started it and the motor started revving without warning...just a fluke? or a sign?

  • Update on third Rogue - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

This us our 3rd Rogue. 2008 AWD was very noisy. 2009 was a lemon, Nissan could not fix it. Dealer helped us into 2010. So far this one has had none of the problems of the 2009. It has averaged 29 MPG all around driving. The trans is still noisy (as all are). The seats are good We take a lot of road trips (last week 2,983 mile trip). Fuel gauge is wacky (as all are). Disappointed that this 2010 has no in mirror compass. Would we buy a 4th? Cant say for sure (due to the way Nissan Company treated us with our 2009). But the dealer will have our biz for sure.

  • Very Happy so far! - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

Ive had my 2010 Rogue for a week...and I LOVE IT! I bought a base model with the 360 package...definitely worth it! I added heated leather seats, Bluetooth and remote start...all for under $2000, which still brought the sticker price of this car in well under $26K. LOVE the CVT...drives smooth, no transitioning of gears. Ive yet to drive in the snow, but am hopeful from all the reviews Ive read. The 4 cylinder is powerful enough for me, but Im a "chick" and was told that the 4 cyl. is a "chick car" because of that, lol. It is a quiet and smooth ride...which after owning a Subaru Forester is a nice change!
