  • Good little Truck! - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

Found this truck/crossover by accident when I walked out of a Jeep dealership in disgust (with their salespeople & products). Never even heard of a Rogue before. Drive it and it felt more solid than a CRV & Forester. The engine is refined and Nissan tweaked the trans in case of any issue. no problems with 15,000 miles on it. It is GREAT in the snow and great in bad conditions such as rain. Great gas mileage 30 highway average (on par smaller cars: Suzuki & Toyota Matrix). The small hatch is the sacrifice for the good gas mileage but the seats fold down. The car makes me feel confident on the road. It does not feel light weight and with 5 star crash ratings. The interior is well laid out.

  • Solid Crossover SUV - 2010 Nissan Rogue

This is a solid crossover. Its not super fancy or a high-performance car, but its not intended to be either. The ride is smooth and the SL premium features are convenient. I like the bright headlights and fig lights. This is a good vehicle for someone that wants AWD and an SUV feel while still getting decent fuel mileage and car- like handling.

  • Good riding car - 2010 Nissan Rogue

We bought this car for the comfortable ride and awd as we live in NH. Gas mileage at hwy26 looked good also. So far on my daily commute at 45-50 mph it gets about 30 mph, at hwy speeds (65+) it does drop to 26. The ride is still very comfortable 4 months later. On our trip to DC this summer the 4 cyl engine has to work a bit to enter freeway traffic, but cruises well thereafter, an optional 6 cyl engine would be nice.

  • Do Not Buy This Car!!! - 2010 Nissan Rogue

Ive had problems with my car for awhile now. When Im stopped, the entire car shutters, this also happens when I accelerate. My rpms also jump from 3-6 (Im not speeding)and when I let off the accelerator to slow down, my speed stays the same with my rpms going back and forth from 3-6. I called the dealership where I purchased the car and I was told that since my check engine light has NOT come on, they cant help me. They can look at it for $57.00 but the computer has not recognized any problems yet so there is not much they can do. Basically, drive it until you break down. Nice!! I called the corporate office and was told they stand behind what I was told by the dealership!!Fantastic

  • CVT transmission issues - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

Please google Nissan Rogue CVT transmission issues before considering this vehicle. I used to love my Rogue, but after 2 years of driving it, some serious concerns came up. I had multiple experiences where the transmission overheated, putting the vehicle into safety mode. When it is in safety mode, it DOES NOT GO. This happened to me on the highway, and right after getting off of the highway in the middle of an intersection. This issue has been reported in several instances, so please do research it! Nissan is aware of the reports, but only offered me a solution of changing the transmission fluid. I traded it in, as I found the vehicle too risky and unreliable. Please be careful.

  • Happy I went Rogue! - 2010 Nissan Rogue

I was looking for an AWD vehicle that was baby friendly (because wow car seats are HUGE), smaller than a fullsized SUV & decent gas mileage all while spending under 30k. I LOVE this car. Still getting used to the differences between it and my Audi A4 (not fair to compare some things) but so far its been great. I expected a little better gas mileage for a 4 cylinder and disappointed that there were no options for V6, climate control or the 360 package (would be nice given the small back window) but that would have pushed the price into the 30s. Im nitpicking because so far I absolutely love it and am glad I chose this over a CRV. Great deals now (fully loaded under $26k, good financing)

  • Unsafe for a tall driver - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

I bought the car for my 64" son. The dealer assured me it would accommodate his height. His head nearly hits the ceiling and comes dangerously close to hitting the visor. A crash risks a broken neck. The Oversized mirror creates a bind spot for any driver, but an especially large blindspot for a tall driver.

  • I luv this vehicle - 2010 Nissan Rogue

I just purchased my Rouge yesterday 11/12/09 and I must say that im impressed with the ride as well as the quality and comfort of the vehicle, I test drove the Altima and took it home and found myself waking up 2:30am wishing I had purchased the Rouge instead so I called Nissan and they told me no problem bring the car back and we will find the Rouge that best suites you, I was so happy when I went back to the dealership and my Rouge was sitting there waiting for me, I test drove it and fell in love with it immediately so of course I slept like a baby last night..lol..I am going on a weekend on the town to put it to the full test but so far im loving it and all my friends love it as well.

  • Really like the Rogue - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

Test drove the Mazda CX7, no power and weird steering. Love the Rogue, great get up and go. Had Xterra, it drives like a truck, now Im enjoying driving more. CX7 has extreme road noise, this one has a little but not very noticeable. Love the Bluetooth and moon roof. Would like a little more back space, but can make do. Back seat is fairly comfortable too. Highly recommend for someone wanting a smaller SUV with great gas mileage!

  • Love my new Rogue - 2010 Nissan Rogue
    By -

I love my new Rogue! I have only had it for a few weeks but am in love! I was looking for a certain style and there was not a lot out there in my price range. I upgraded from an 11 year Altima and I am really enjoying the ride so far. I like being up higher than a standard car but didnt want anything too big and this is perfect! Definite blind spot but I can deal with it.
