Overview & Reviews
Nissan's compact pickup rolls into 2003 with many new enhancements. Most interesting is a power-operated retractable top. The "Open Sky" top -- essentially a giant sunroof -- is optional on Crew Cab models. For safety, Nissan has added standard dual-stage front airbags for Crew Cabs, standard LATCH child seat anchors on King Cabs and Crew cabs, an optional stability control system and an optional tire pressure monitoring system. Other changes for 2003 include 10 more horsepower for normally aspirated V6 models, a driver seat-height adjuster and standard Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). King Cabs now have standard ABS, a new storage bin and a new first aid kit (V6 only).
- Wide variety of body configurations and trim levels, many safety and convenience features.
- No third door on King Cabs, cramped rear seats for Crew Cabs.

You had me at supercharged! - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By Jhn - April 29 - 7:46 pmI have owned many different makes & models, this truck made me a fan of Nissan. I wish it had better gas mileage but with a super charged V6 I cant complain to much. I am sort of a shade tree mech. & the ease of changing brakes, oil, filters, etc. was actually surprising. Thank you Nissan for a truck with great style & performance. The next time I buy a vehicle it will be another Nissan.

Under the Radar Value - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By rkt440 - March 10 - 10:00 amIve always been aware of the Froniter but I never realized what a value it really is. Quality Japanese craftsmanship, the right features (Alloys, A/C, CD), slightly larger motor and you get a super-cab for the price of a similarly equipped, regular cab Ranger.

Great truck - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By tykane01 - May 14 - 10:00 amI love the truck. It is my first truck ever, so that might not say much. The ride height is great. Love the sound system. Should have bought 4x4. The long bed is a must. Of course the back seat is cramped. But overall satisfaction is excellent. Watch out for the nissan dealers though. Watch out for the speed limiter too. Sucks if you do not know it is going to happen.

VERY GOOD TRUCK! - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By Mr. Mustard - March 27 - 10:00 amThe 2003 Nissan Frontier my wife and I purchased is quite a value. It is very solidly built, quiet inside, and has the feeling of a much larger truck while driving it. I have been a Toyota fanatic for years, but the Frontier is by far a much improved truck than before and is a greater value than the Tacoma.

What a fun truck! - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By Nancy Ellis - September 15 - 10:00 amI always wanted a truck, but had never driven one and knew nothing about them. I test drove them all, and settled on the Frontier for reasons of price, 4 doors, and appearance. I was lucky to find a 2003 used, low-mileage SE Crew Cab in solar yellow with all the options I wanted. It is SOOOO fun and I enjoy the attention it generates, (although I am a middle- aged lady with a kid in college!) I am sure glad I traded in that "soccer mom" beige minivan!

Desert Runner - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By TonyM - August 21 - 10:00 amReally enjoy this truck. Rides and drives well and yet feels like a truck. Much better value in my opinion than Prerunner.

AWSOME TRUCK - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By Harvey Anthony - August 14 - 10:00 amThis truck is all and more than I hoped it would be. Its fast when I want, has awsome 4wd capability, and drives like a 2wd.I drove a long way to get it [ 4wd sc not available in my area] and have been happy that I did. Only flaws, kind of flashy for my taste, and I only wonder what the guy was thinking when he made the instrument panel the way he did...awful,but I can live with it!

03 Frontier Crew Cab 4WD SB - 2003 Nissan Frontier
By henrysc - August 8 - 2:00 amThis truck is a solid performer on and off road. Have not towed with it yet, but expect it will do fine. Will probably add 3" lift kit and performance exhaust.
