  very nice truck just bought it a year a go and has not given me problems....no oil leaks no nothing ... fun to drive .... not a fan of the windows since there manual ... but engine and trans is good

  Bought from private seller in Venice Beach Ca. Only had 58,000 miles on it, was in great shape. Had to replace right exhaust manifold ($400). And 1st gear synchro fragmented ($1700). And cat manifolds rattle. Going to remove those. Put BFG All-Terrain T/A KO tires, and american racing outlaw II rims. Other than a few minor problems it has been my fav truck so far.

  This truck has been outstanding! It has been 100% reliable, never burns oil, and for a truck, its very quiet. Overall, on a scale of 10, I would give it a 7.

  This truck has exceeded my expectations, A new purchase and have enjoyed very mile. only issue has been, battery replaces at 4th year, leaking a/c hose replaced compressor to top of condenser, new tires after 5th year and heat shields on exhaust removed (they began to rattle) due to some corrosion. I am not planning on getting rid of anytime soon. too much plastic in the front grill and fascia on the new one I will wait for a nicer design. I like its towing capacity, I have taken it from philadelphia to montreal several times with a fully loaded trailer, perfomance was good. the cruise control light, dimmer, and radio controls are a bit out of view on this model. overall I love it.

  As it gets older, it will get a lot of off road / back road use. I want compact external dimensions, and a short turning radius for the (almost) roads that often use. This fills the bill. It is quiet on the freeway. The only real wind noise comes from the bug deflector. We average 18.5 mpg with a canopy, a bed full of "family stuff" and 4 people in the truck. It has no squeaks and rattles.

  I feel I made a mistake buying this truck, I was in a hurry and thought I was getting a deal on it. I bought it used, thought at first it was a good truck, it is a good truck, but for a person who put 120+ miles on in a day it is not that good of a truck. only get 18 mpg in 2 wheel drive but the weird thing is in 4WD I get 22 mpg. Just not the right truck for me

  I bought my Frontier new back in September of 1999. This truck has not let me down once! The trucks strong point seems to be reliability while its weak points seem to be lack of power, and a very harsh ride. If you are going to be doing lots of highway driving then I would recommend looking elsewhere. Overall this is a solid yet very basic vehicle.

  Super Reliable Small Truck - 2000 Nissan Frontier

  I have 210,000 miles on it. I changed the brakes and clutch at 180,000 - thats it. The A/C failed at 190,000. The A/C compressor works, but I couldnt find the leak, so I decided not to repair it. Ive never had any vehicle run this well.

  Reliable, good looking 4 dr small p-up. For those that dont want one of the mammoth full size p-ups that wont fit in the garage ! Excellent for the wife, 2 kids and a bit of gear. 4WD great in NE snow. Very Quiet inside, great handling and very smooth ride. Nice for weekend projects or just to haul the groceries.
