This is my first truck and I think I made a great choice. This truck is great. It has a comfortable ride, a smooth tranny and looks great. The stereo is first rate. The controls are easy to operate even with gloves on. I test drove an 03 Toyota but went with a new Nissan. My wife calls it Stewie.

All I can say is WOW. This truck is great. I just got it home two days ago and cant stop staring at it. It just looks great. Like a bulldog with an attitude. Drives great, Very comfortable and has a real solid feel. Very tight. I believe the 05 is the first year for the new body style and it was a much needed upgrade. The 6 CD stereo is excellent. the controls are easy to use and easy to reach. You really feel safe in this truck. I had a used Mazda for about 4 weeks and gave it back for this new one. Very Smart Move. Buy one. Youll love it.

Disappointed it did not come with safety remote key entry, rides a little rough. First time pick-up owner I expected more comfort. After purchase dispointed in jump seats instead of 4 seats. Bad choice on my part. Color was not first choice but acceptible. Overall pickup is very good and enjoy a lot. pricing of basic vehicle color should not change options or price.

  • Great truck for the money - 2005 Nissan Frontier

The Frontier is a roomy, powerful mid- size 4x4 truck. It will seat five comfortably, has a decent sound system and smooth ride. Like most pick-ups you have to pay attention driving in bad weather. Im averaging about 15 mpg (with a six speed). A good truck for the money

Ive only had the truck for about 2 weeks, but its really fun to drive and has a lot of power. It has nice features and seems to be very well built and rugged.

I have owned the LE Crew Cab for 2 weeks. Chose it over Tacoma b/c of better high-end options (sunroof/leather). Acceleration is surprisingly responsive and fast. Interior on LE is very nice, logical, and comfortable. Paid $300 over invoice through federal government car-buying service from local dealer. Very happy with vehicle.

While being the most comfortable truck I have owned it has one major flaw in the heating controls. When you put the heat control knob to floor only the hot air still comes out the A/C vents and makes it very uncomfortable, this feature keeps the feet and legs cold in very cold weather and your upper body too warm. Nissan service rep has told me this is the way they are built, and Nissan refuses to get back to me after several calls. Also there are a couple of spots where dirt was painted over at the factory. Overall the truck does very well in off road performances as well as a nice ride on hard surfaces. Ed Jarecki

Have had the truck one month on4-28. No complaints so far. Does well in the snow. Really like the vdc and limited slip. Roomy cab is really nice. Gas mileage is around 15.5 to 16.7, I just turned 1000 miles so I hope this will improve around 5000. The trip computer is nice. I have mine set on the mpg setting as it makes me try and get the most. I replaced the original rugged terrain tas with the all terrain tas and I like the feel better. They seem smoother on the freeway and I know they will be better in bad weather. No difference in mpg or road noise that I can tell. All Round Great Truck Cheers!

  • Cool Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier

The 2005 Nissan Frontier far exceeded my expectations. The truck has a lot of great features for the value. My previous truck was a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. Compared to it, the rear seat is a bit small and the bed is slightly shorter. However, it accomdates both my children in their car seats comfortably. I know some people are asking for a long bed version, but I think the bed is the right size for every day use. The truck could be improved in the interior. Over all I think Nissan did its homework accomodating praticality and value. I give it an A+.

  • Tacoma Killer! - 2005 Nissan Frontier

I love the Nissan Frontier! I have had other Nissan trucks in the past and test drove the 2005 Toyota Tacoma, but the Frontier tops them all. Nissan did their homework and learned a lot from the Titan. The powerful 265hp 4.0 V6 engine pulls hard to 60mph+. The 5 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and never hunts for the right gear. There is a solid graceful feel to the chasis and it handles corners very well. The build quality is excellent and the cab is very quiet and roomy. This truck drives and feels much like its big brother, the Titan. The Rockford Fosgate package has a great sound, it is a must! The quality of interior materials are very good. This truck has become a major player in the midsize class! THANK YOU NISSAN!
