The 2005 Nissan Frontier - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Emily - April 9 - 12:33 pmThis is the best truck I think I will ever own. My boyfriend has a 2000 Nissan Frontier, and all of our friends have variouse year model Frontiers and we all love them. We will keep these trucks after we get newer Nissans as a second vehicle for whatever purpose it may be needed for. We will own nothing other than a Nissan.

Im lovin it - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By rsbible - March 18 - 9:06 amIn my opinion the Nissan Frontier is the sharpest midsize truck on the market right now. The Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado / GMC Canyon are right there but the Nissan gets them with its aggressive stance and rugged good looks. Ive only had the truck a couple of weeks but so far I love it! I went to the dealership with the intentions of buying the 5-speed automatic but the 6-speed manual was just too much fun to drive. this trucks comfort and convenience are great. I havent really been off road yet but it was a real treat to drive in the big snow storm we had this week! I kept looking for errands to run so I could get out in the snow and slush! I think my wife was on to me. In short this is a SOLID midsize truck.

Love it. - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By rsrtampa - January 20 - 12:36 amI bought the Nissan basically because of the design. It is by far the best looking 4 door truck out there. I have grown to love it for other reasons. It has amazing power, its fun todrive and it is very convenient.

A solid package - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Scott McLaughlin - December 14 - 8:26 amA thoughtful redesign since my 2003 model Crew Cab 4x4. Interior space is vastly improved, particularly in the rear seat area. Adults can actually ride comfortably in this space. Both engine power and fuel economy are greatly improved, thanks to the all new 4.0 V6 and 5-speed A/T.

First time Nissan owner - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Jeffro - November 3 - 11:06 pmWanted a mid-size truck and have always purchased from the big 3 auto- makers. The Nissan and Toyota stood out from the big 3. Went with the Nissan Frontier based on re-disgn similiar to the Titan. I could not be happier. The truck is great, comfort, room, features, ride, it has it all. I have purchased the sliding bed extender and the cargo space is very usable, (the design thought on the bed is great, spray on bed liner, c- channels and cargo straps are all standard). The power on this truck is hard to beat. Yes, it is a heavy "mid- size" truck, but you will not notice when you step on the gas. You will not be disappointed with the 2005 Nissan Frontier.

Excellent truck so far - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By bosox - September 23 - 3:23 amOverall the truck is great and I love it.There are a few annoyances though. One is the passenger side jump seat flops down under hard braking or bumpy conditions (Still happens periodically even with the upgraded seat locks from Nissan).Second there are some squeaks, rattles, and vibrations, especially around my rear sliding window when it is open. Third and most annoying is that if Im coasting in neutral or I have the clutch pushed in the transmission rattles when going over bumps. Its really anoying on the trail and rough dirt roads. My dealer supposedly tested another manual frontier and said it was normal. Fourth is that the front of the truck picks up lots of bugs in the summer.

Worth the wait! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Diversity 1 - September 15 - 8:16 amThis is a truly great truck! It handles very well and the gas mileage is decent. The interior is well thought out and the exterior is rugged, yet futuristic. The engine power is outstanding! You can do almost anything with this vehicle, it is very versatile. Nissan hit a homerun with this one! It is not a cross-over wannabe minivan!

"Unfortunately my Wife LOVES it!!! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Tim - September 14 - 11:43 pmI wanted to put some miles and seasons on my new 4x4 before I gave my review. I love it more now than when I 1st bout it. I used to own a Chevy S10 4x4 that I had to put in reverse to engage the 4x4--a real pain!!! With this 4x4on the fly, I cant wait for it to snow. Its got great ground clearance and cuts through deep snow like butter! My wife uses any excuse to drive it, I cant get her out of it. I love the spray-in bedliner with the util-trac rails. With the bed extender i go from a 5 to 6bed. Interior is very comfortable and a smooth ride. 265hp acceleration very powerful. test drove dodge durango as well. NO comparison. Gas mileage @16- 20. Could use heated outside anti-fog mirrors
