Overview & Reviews
The Pathfinder Armada is an all-new full-size sport-utility vehicle from Nissan. Based on the Titan pickup, it features a standard V8 engine, seating for eight and numerous family-friendly features.
- Spacious interior, gutsy V8, lots of up-front storage areas, fold-flat third-row seat.
- Bold styling is polarizing, leather seats not as comfortable as cloth, dismal fuel mileage.

Family cargo transporter - 2004 Nissan Armada
By llajumpvid - September 23 - 10:00 amIt drives like a sports car, rides like a luxury car(almost). It makes trips enjoyable until the gas pump:). The gas mileage is expected though. so far average 11 in city and 15 hwy with 3000 miles. Im happy with the purchase, a few rattles that can be fixed but overall glad I bought it.

Better than expected - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Yoh - July 6 - 10:00 amI was little bit concerned about quality issue because there were several posts here, however, I did not have any problem at this time. People at Canton began to get used to the line I think. Considering high technology Nissan provided, price setting is reallyl good deal. I am very happy that Nissan has completely revived and began to expand line-ups.

Not bad at all.... - 2004 Nissan Armada
By armadian - May 24 - 10:00 amSo far, the Nissan Armada has been about what I expected after doing my SUV homework. Its definitely "different" and not easily comparible with other SUVs.

Bought first car sold in illinois - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Drivin in paradise - April 24 - 5:46 amI purchased the first Armada in Illinois and have experienced the "first-run syndrome". After fighting with my dealership over floormats, Nissan stepped in and got me the mats gratis. Nissan has a serious issue with the rotors on this "beast" as they warp every 20K- 25K miles. Nissan is aware of the poor materials and is looking into a new manufacturer. Nissan is gladly replacing all rotors and pads when they warp due to the excessive heat produced by the large vehicle. Overall I enjoy the Armada and am happy with it. I cant complain about gas milage since I was aware the Full size SUVs have poor MPG. However..we actually got 24MPG driving to Naples, FL this winter!!!

Outdoes GM, from a loyal chev owner - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Armada - March 2 - 2:16 pmThis vehicle has outdone my expectations on all facets. I pull a 32 foot travel trailer with ease, and struggled with the suburban. Dealership was more knowledgable and willing to work with me to get a match on vehicle. Will never go back to the GM line.

Nissan has done it. Lookout toyota&chevy - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Chris Hansen - February 14 - 8:16 amWe have loved our Nissan Armada. It has tons of room, tons of power, and drives excellent. We have had the typical front brake problem, but Nissan has a remedy for that problem. Some rattles, but the Dealer is working those out. Best big SUV on the Market. More power than TAHOE & SEQUOIA.

This is one HOT SUV!!!! - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Paulo356 - October 11 - 10:00 amIve driven my new black Armada 4x4 LE for about a week now and theres only one word to describe this SUV - its a BEAST! Depressing the accelerator pedal is like opening up a can of whup- ass on the road - this baby definitely has a lot of get-up-and-go. My friends can hear this thing coming down the road 4 blocks away! Also, the Nav system is one of the easiest to use and the seats are very comfortable. The DVD screen is a little too small at 7" for such a cavernous cabin - audience in the third row has to squint to see dvd image.

Great but............ - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Love the looks - September 30 - 12:20 amI enjoy driving this truck ( I do mean truck because this vehicle rides nothing like the Tahoe we owned just before purchasing the Armada) Additionally, Nissan needs to pay attention to the details like brakes that squeak, DVD rattles, and tail gates that fail to operate correctly. Besides that the vehicle has performed well.

Poor body /interior integrity! - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Chrysty - September 4 - 10:00 amThe rattling/squeaking started after about 800 mi.. We now have 7500 mi. and the noise is constant - even on smooth roads. It seems to be coming from the ceiling center console. The major problem is the entire outside plastic piece that goes across the back of the vehicle that houses the 3rd brake light completely FELL OFF and was hanging by the brake light connection while driving on the freeway the other day!! Bottom line - the body integrity in this vehicle is inexcusable. According to Consumer Reports, Nissan is known for having problems in this area. I will say I am extremely happy with the Nissans performance and cargo room - supreme job here!

good price for performance - 2004 Nissan Armada
By 514329 - August 29 - 10:00 amfor an SE 4X4 w/ tow package, built 05- 04 and only 9 days in the lot for $34095.00 out the door (yes incl. tax, tax and title) would I take it, yes. I can get use to some issues but definetely cant deal w/ paying $3000.00 on my trade-in and $1000.00 above invoice + tax, tags & title on a competing manufacturer (I went to all dealership w/ this manufaturer on where I am and just cant get the deal I want cause I got use to paying invoice). cant also deal w/ driving a full size SUV w/ underpower engine.
