Overview & Reviews
The Pathfinder Armada is an all-new full-size sport-utility vehicle from Nissan. Based on the Titan pickup, it features a standard V8 engine, seating for eight and numerous family-friendly features.
- Spacious interior, gutsy V8, lots of up-front storage areas, fold-flat third-row seat.
- Bold styling is polarizing, leather seats not as comfortable as cloth, dismal fuel mileage.

Love it other than the Front Brakes - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Chris - March 3 - 11:50 amAt only 2,700 miles the Front Brakes need an overhaul. It is sad that this is such a common problem for such an awesome SUV. Tons of power and very smooth Trany. Consumer Reports complained about Engine and exhaust noise, get a clue, its a V8 SUV. It happens to be one of my favorite things about the Armada, the deep exhaust and powerful sounding engine. We have four boys, and they love the room and especially the BOSE DVD system, it ROCKS!!! Almost bought a Toyota Sequoia based on their their awesome track record. They were more $ and under-powered. Nissan has built a great SUV other than a few little rattles and their one big problem, the brakes.

Outdoes GM, from a loyal chev owner - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Armada - March 2 - 2:16 pmThis vehicle has outdone my expectations on all facets. I pull a 32 foot travel trailer with ease, and struggled with the suburban. Dealership was more knowledgable and willing to work with me to get a match on vehicle. Will never go back to the GM line.

Give me a Brake! Please. - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Kids Limo Service - February 16 - 10:00 amFour months of driving and the front end shakes violently when you apply the brakes. Nissan says it is safe. As a mom, I say if it shakes dont drive it. Repair parts are in short supply. I love the room in this SUV. Great for a large family and all the required sports and school gear. Nissan is having trouble with the roof supports and some electrical systems as well. If your DVD system vibrates take it in before it falls off on to your kids. I am betting on this being a great vehicle in the long run. We should have waited for year two, so Nissan could work the bugs out.

Nissan has done it. Lookout toyota&chevy - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Chris Hansen - February 14 - 8:16 amWe have loved our Nissan Armada. It has tons of room, tons of power, and drives excellent. We have had the typical front brake problem, but Nissan has a remedy for that problem. Some rattles, but the Dealer is working those out. Best big SUV on the Market. More power than TAHOE & SEQUOIA.

Armada - Basic SE Model Review - 2004 Nissan Armada
By 81 trekker - January 10 - 10:00 amWe purchased the basic SE in early May. Only extras were the Bose System and tow package. We had the dealer add fog lights and the two other skid plates (transfer case and gas tank). The "beast" is a pleasure to drive on road trips. The most comfortable vehicle we have had for travel. I tested its off-road ability in the GW National Forest on a road used primarily by ATVs. It passed with flying colors, even with the Continental All Weather Tires. We have had no issues with it to date. No resonance can be detected. We get 14 mpg on mostly highway and 15- 16 on the road.

Nothing but problems - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Wazzzup - January 5 - 10:00 amI purchased the Armada a month ago. In this short time Ive noticed a constant rattling of the overhead console and cracks in the console which eventually lead to the console breaking loose and hitting my son on the head. The rear hatch locking and automatic opening/closing system sucks. It is constantly beeping on accelerations and over bumpy terrain. The beep is to indicate that the hatch is not closed properly. Ive removed the mats in the event they may be in the way but that doesnt help. The locking mechanism for the center glove box is made of plastic with slight pressure on the handle it pops open so dont leave your valuables inside.

Simply Awesome! - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Jidda - December 9 - 2:00 amI recently purchase the new Armada and find it hands down better than the competition. I test drove the Sequoia, Tahoe and Yukon. This V-8 engine is awesome. It blows away the competition. I drove a Nissan Pathfinder for 5 years and loved the V-6 240hp engine on my 2002. This vehicle blows the mid-size Pathfinder away. There is so much here I dont have time to list. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone interested in purchasing a full size SUV. The one downfall of this SUV is the mileage, but for all the fun it is to drive, it is well worth the headache to fill up more frequently. Happy trails to everyone who buys this SUV!

Armadas the BEST - 2004 Nissan Armada
By Debbie Many - November 22 - 10:00 amThe Armada is ergonomically perfect! The fit and feel of this vehicle far surpasses my expectations. All of the controls are within reach and the seats lay down. I love the fact that my rear door will open with the click of a button. I have never felt more stable on the road.ESPECIALLY in bad weather! I get tons of compliments and thumbs up from other drivers. The stereo is terrific and the cupholders have it all! This car has comfort and styling! I LOVE IT!
