This Year's Model Updates:

The Pathfinder Armada is an all-new full-size sport-utility vehicle from Nissan. Based on the Titan pickup, it features a standard V8 engine, seating for eight and numerous family-friendly features.

Pros:
  • Spacious interior, gutsy V8, lots of up-front storage areas, fold-flat third-row seat.
Cons:
  • Bold styling is polarizing, leather seats not as comfortable as cloth, dismal fuel mileage.

My husband used to say I drove him crazy when I did drive, comparing me to a grandmother on Prozac. Now he tells me to take it easy! Never have I had a ride like I have in my Armada. I have found my SUV and (barring any future personality conflicts) will have one for a very long time.

Just bought this the day before a 700 mile trip and love it. Drove it in all weather and roads including on the beach. The kids loved the rear seats which recline and have tons of leg room. 6-0" + in the front and back not a problem. The acceleration is awesome, it is a brute but rides smooth. The gas mileage is horrible but so is all the competition. Nothing its size does better but they are slower and ride rougher. The interior doesnt look like a crappy pick either. No one gets car sick in the 3rd row anymore (had a Durango). We had 3 adults in the 3rd row and it was a little tight. Tons of features on base model. Drive on and youll buy it.

First i would like to say i love this car! It is magnificent. It will do anything you ask of it. BUT. I have only put 5000 miles on it and I have already changed the brakes twice and the rotars once. If you are buying this car or currently have it, watch out for the PSI in the tires, i got mine with 50 PSI in them when they are only supposed to be at 35. I checked it out based on the complaints/reviews about the tire preasure from the reviews writen here! ANd the actual mileage on the gas is 8 MPG for city driving. Other then that, great!

Love this SUV. Nissan waited to come out with a large SUV and in doing so, corrected all the mistakes of the other car makers. Fun to drive. Very stable. All the conveniences youd ever want.

I love my Armada so much! Its huge, I call it my beast! But the only problem is, the inside is falling apart! the visors keep falling off, I took it to the dealer and they said they couldnt fix them, that they were manufactured wrong.. Hopefully the 2005 is better.. But the drive is GREAT and so much fun! Overall, awesome car!

Just love it! Lot of space. Can go camping anywhere. The best SUV I ever had.

Lots of rattles and air leaks keep this good SUV from being great. Great powertrain and sound system, smooth ride and comfort. Poor dealer service.

Some of the seat controls seem to stick at times, but I appreciate the versatility of the seat transformations. The cooler console on the LE does not seem especially well thought through, the one I looked at was smallish on the inside, and the attaching clip had already been broken.

We have had our Armada since Jan, 2004 and have put over 16,000 miles on it! We test drove it and the Sequoia and felt the Aramda was better. It has to be the "badest" SUV out there. We took it on a 5,000 mile trip to San Francisco this past summer and the Armada was outstanding! Had to get the left rear window motor replaced. Several squeaks and rattle here and there. I am blaming that on first year gremlins! Hopefully Nissan will fix that in future models. The gas mileage is terrible, but thats what you get with that awesome engine! I am thinking of installing a Borla exhaust system and see what that will really sound like!
