Still Love it - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By likeitquiet - December 14 - 10:06 amIve had it for a year and love it as much now as on day one. Its made several long road trips around the country at this point, so mileage is quickly increasing but condition, reliability and handling are still superb. This little gem is highly recommended as a keeper - so grateful to Edmunds for aiding in the extensive research process before purchase - not a single regret.

JJ - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Jim - September 1 - 3:23 amI purchased this for my 17 year old daughter. She is worst than any torture test ever conceived. (35,000 in 12 months). The car has performed beautifully with no problems what so ever. Averages 26 mpg. It drives and handles like a compact car but has better visibility. I highly recommend the car. If fact my wife liked it so much I bought her one a month later. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power up to about 80 MPH.

Five on the Floor - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Tributetotribute - July 12 - 8:00 amJust traded in a 99 Explorer on this little SUV. So far so good. Its 4 cylinder, five speed is very peppy. We have 2WD which is all most people need. Love the mpg. We added leather and moonroof to class it up a bit.

Fun Little Car - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By wendylou16 - December 13 - 12:53 amI got this for fuel economy, after driving a 2000 Ford Explorer. So far I love it! It give me just about as much space as I used in the Explorer, and has the feel of a SUV. I love it so far!

happy to buy it - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By mulawin - September 27 - 12:53 amWe just got the Tribute after all the research on the net and I can say the roomy interior surprised me! I was glad I chose it over the CRV which is smaller and has a less classy feel on the inside. My husband loves the way it handles like a small car but packs power. Windows are tinted and I love the lighted vanity mirrors. How considerate. I also appreciate that they made the roof rack standard. Like it outside and inside. Its a very nice SUV to have.

LOVE IT - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Vonda - May 24 - 5:53 pmMy spouse showed up with this last week after our Exploder was on the way out. I was skeptical of a 4 cylinder being able to handle my driving. I absolutely love it. It handles tight and sporty, yet stable. It gets great gas mileage - I even got 28 last week on the highway. I wanted more seating, but this is exactly what I really needed for day to day driving with a family of four.

Nice car, fun to drive - 2006 Mazda Tribute
By Hasan - March 27 - 4:36 pmI have the car for a month now. I had a long trip from L.A. to the Grand Canyon. Very powerful with 5 people inside and full luggage including on the top and we had no problem of driving uphill in any speed on the mountains. However over 70 (speed limit in AZ is 75), gas mileage drops 20mpg on highway.
