Overview & Reviews
Coming off a complete redesign just last year, the 2010 Mazda 6 sees little in the way of change. A new optional audio and Bluetooth display debuts, as does a new Touring Plus trim level. Features have also been shuffled among trim levels to lower the vehicle's base price.
- Roomy cabin, big trunk, muscular performance from V6, smooth automatic transmissions, relatively sporty handling.
- Mediocre fuel economy, some cheap interior materials.

Melting Tail Lights - If youre out of warranty - Youre Out of Luck - 2010 Mazda Mazda6
By gregsmazda6 - September 9 - 1:56 amI bought a used 2010 Mazda 6 with about 44,000 miles on it. By about 48,000 miles, I noticed the tail light lenses were melting. It has stock bulbs. Dealership never saw this before (of course) but was willing to charge $350 for new tail lights. I tried going the route of "Tail Lights shouldnt melt in a year". I say they happen only after 3/36,000 warranties. Several iterations up the Mazda Corporate ladder - proved fruitless. Out-of-Warranty, Out-of-Luck. Only when I went to the NHTSA, I found (service bulletin) SB-10033969-2790), 2009/10 "Mazda 6 might experience heat deformation of the lens in warm climates" - Why isnt Mazda Selling - ARE MELTING TAIL LIGHTS ACCEPTABLE to CUSTOMERS???

Looks pretty, but kind of clunky. - 2010 Mazda Mazda6
By hazeley - May 9 - 1:10 pmI like the appearance of the vehicle from the outside, and the price was right when I bought it. However, I found I never really got comfortable in it, even after driving it for 3 years. Im almost 6 tall, and I felt like I was surrounded by dangerous blind spots. Its deceptively big, and kind of heavy and slow. The interior felt a little cheap, and its so low to the ground (around 5" of clearance), but also so long that I was frequently knicking the front bumper on the ground. In a storm, I drove through a puddle that wasnt even that deep, and two parts of the plastic covering attached with plastic bolts over the engine caught in the water and ripped off.
