This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Mazda 3 sees a number of changes. Although these include a minor exterior refresh involving mainly the taillights, most are more functional. Now standard on all Mazda 3s are a tire-pressure monitor, an auxiliary input jack for the stereo, a rear-seat center armrest and an additional power point in the console. A stability control system becomes available on the Touring and Grand Touring trims.

Pros:
  • Athletic handling, refined engines, strong brakes, sharp styling, top-notch build and materials quality, hatchback utility.
Cons:
  • Top safety equipment either optional or on higher trims, tight rear legroom, so-so fuel economy with 2.3-liter engine.

  • The Right Decision for Me - 2007 Mazda Mazda3

I have only had this car for 11 days, so I really cannot comment on my "ownership experience" yet. Still too soon! I will say that I cannot imagine finding another new car in this price range that offers so much, for so little.

This was my first real car, and I love it. It is a fast car for a base cheap car, and handles well. I love the look of it, especially with the wing spoiler. The comfort is great and the interior features are also great. Overall, this is a great first car for any person.

This has been the best car Ive ever owned. The drive is amazing and every time I step into my Mazda3 it feels like a new fun filled adventure awaits. I have the Mazda3 s sport (black w/ black interior and spoiler) and love its style and look. (get many compliments from friends and strangers). The ride is extremely smooth and it has great acceleration and speed. I would recommend getting a radar detector to alert you and remind you to look at the speedometer because its easy to lose track of your speed. ZOOM ZOOM!

My wife and I always liked the 3 since it came out but never bought one until now. So far I think it is a great car compared to the others in its class. You feel like you spent in the 30 to 40 price range. Upscale interior compared to others in its class, great styling was also a key in our purchase. I am pleased with the gas mileage, although should be better. You will not find a car that gets better MPG that is this fun to drive.

I test drove the Mazda and fell in love. To be fair I drove a civic just to make sure... it was no contest. The Mazda and I just clicked like it was meant to be. Ive had no problems yet, although I thought I had a problem with the clock losing time. Its been ok for a day now so well see.

  • Sweet Car! - 2007 Mazda Mazda3

I just got a Mazda3 S Touring 5 door galaxy grey and its really sweet! I test drove the Honda Civic. I am 63 and didnt fit too well inside and it was a little slow. I also test drove the Acura RSX and the same thing. Then I test drove the M3 and it was awesome, really roomy and drives like a dream. I am 21 and its my first new car. I have a little over 600 miles so far and its perfect so far.

For the money, you wont find a better driving hatchback out there (minus the Mazdaspeed3, GTI, STI, etc. of course). Typical Mazda steering, powerful brakes, and fantastic grip. If the aforementioned are more important to you than mpg, the Maz3 is definitely worth a look. Fuel economy is ok, but certainly not great for a compact, as has been said by many others. Driving from CA to NY (all interstate with speeds around 75-80), I averaged around 30 mpg. A typical tank with mixed city and hwy driving will yield 22-26 mpg. For those who cannot see their gauges in daylight, you need to push that little button on the instrument cluster to alternate your dash lighting - there are two modes

  • So nice - 2007 Mazda Mazda3

This is the first new car Ive owned and by far the best. Everyone I know likes it and Mazdas definitely still reigning at top of the economy cars(if you wanna classify it as such). It drives like a sports car and the interior is so nice. The gauges at night are one of the coolest looking Ive ever seen glowing a cool blue while other features are glowing in red. If you were an older person you might think that the interior is too hip, but being a 19 year old guy I enjoy staring at it.

  • Awesome! Buy One! - 2007 Mazda Mazda3

Great little car. Moved from my 2006 Mazda6 to this. I bought a manual because they are fun to drive. I found out that they are not as comfortable as the 6 at all. Car has a lot of pep. Lots of compliments. Get the White Pearl!
